KTM 350cc Bikes India Launch Soon: Here Is What To Expect

Smaller engine? Yes. Less Price? Yes! Less Performance? Let’s find out…

The KTM 390 Duke will soon have a downsized 350cc engine. KTM is planning this move to keep the bike’s pricing under control after the GST 2.0 rules, which made bikes above 350cc more expensive.

What About Performance?

The KTM 390 Duke has always been known for its strong and engaging performance. The current 398cc engine makes 46PS, but it could drop slightly on the 350cc engine. That said, the real-world performance may not be affected as much either The leaked specs of the 350cc Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Z show a marginal performance drop, and the same can be expected here. However, the displacement drop will help KTM benefit from the lower tax bracket and thus result in a lower price.

Features Will Stay the Same

Even with the new engine, the Duke is expected to keep all its modern features, such as:

  • Switchable traction control

  • Dual-channel cornering ABS

  • Bidirectional quickshifter

  • 5-inch TFT display with connectivity

  • Launch control

So, the overall riding experience should remain more or less the same.

Adventure Version Too

KTM will also downsize the current 390 Adventure X, and should lower the current price tag of Rs 3.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This might just bring its pricing quite close to the Royal Enfield Himalayan. That said, out of the three 390 ADVs (the 390 X, the Standard 390 Adventure and the 390 Adventure R), we know that it will only be the ‘X’ that will get downsized. The other two models will remain the same.

Bikdekho Says

The engine will be smaller, and performance will drop a little. We hope KTM manages to keep the same fun and sporty feel that it is known for. This should still entice new buyers, more so with the lower price. For anyone who does not want to compromise and still get that unadulterated KTM chaos, there is good news! The brand is also expected to sell the 46PS, 398cc Duke, alongside the 350cc version. All said, the 350cc KTM 390 Duke will launch in India soon

I am doing long ride on week end also for lite affordable i see many other options like Himalayan 450 but bit heavy for me so I choose ktm adventure because it's light weight easy to ride on highway also good feature of electrical side. On highway I am getting mileage of 30 to 37 kmpl depends on engine rpm this bike effortlessly crush on 120kmph to 140kmph with any engine stress also riding poser is good comfortable in city it's easy to manoeuvre in traffic. Here is my reason to choose ktm light weight good mileage best electric feature like riding mode cornering abs best tft counsel also you get accessories port bottom, also engine power is best in class no match for ktm.
