Harley-Davidson has teased the Sprint 440 ahead of its official launch. Here's all you need to know about the upcoming cruiser.
What We Know So Far

From the teaser, the bike appears to have a traditional, low-slung cruiser silhouette compared to the roadster stance of the X440. It gets a circular headlight, a wide cruiser-style handlebar, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and a low-slung, single-piece seat.
On closer inspection, we can also see a rear number plate holder mounted above the rear fender, similar to the international-spec 2026 Harley-Davidson Low Rider S, along with a single-pod instrument cluster that could be the same as the one on other X440 models.
Overall, the bike takes its design cues from bigger models from the brand's international range, like the Harley-Davidson Nightster and the Low Rider S. This could give the Sprint 440 a more authentic Harley-Davidson visual appeal.

The Sprint 440 will be based on the brand's X440 platform and powered by the same 440cc, air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox. On the X440 & the X440 T, the engine produces 27 PS and 38 Nm. However, we can expect a slightly different tune for the Sprint 440, with better low & mid-range torque to suit its cruiser character.
Expected Launch Timeline
The Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 could make its official debut at EICMA 2026, followed by an India launch in 2027. Like its X440 siblings, it will also be manufactured in India in collaboration with Hero MotoCorp.
BikeDekho Says
The Sprint 440 will be the third motorcycle produced under the Hero-Harley-Davidson collaboration, after the X440 and X440 T. However, unlike the X440, which has a more roadster-inspired design, the Sprint 440 will have a more traditional Harley-Davidson look that could increase its appeal to people who want authentic Harley styling without breaking their bank.
We expect the bike to be priced at around Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it above the X440 T, which is priced at Rs 2.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Once launched, it will be one of the few traditional-looking cruiser bikes in its segment and could compete with models like the Honda Rebel 300 and the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.
