2026 TVS Radeon Base Variant Explained
The base variant seems much more value for money than before, here’s how
The TVS Radeon has a long standing reputation of being one of the best commuters in the 110cc segment, and is prized for its amazing mileage, dependability, and comfort. With the launch of the 2026 Radeon, it recently received a comprehensive feature and design overhaul.
The Base variant is priced at Rs 67,100 (ex-showroom Delhi), and here’s what it’s all about:
Design & Styling
All the variants of the Radeon are identical in terms of design and a couple of colours are shared between the variants as well. The update gave the bike a more youthful appeal while also retaining its original design language. The Base is offered in two colours: Black & Blue, and Black & Red. The new colours and graphics look smart, and the all-LED lighting looks quite premium.
Features
The base model is offered with an analogue instrument cluster which provides basic info like speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, Economy/Power indicator (not to be confused with power modes, these lights just indicate your riding style, whether aggressive or economical), and tell-tale lights at a glance. It is the first bike in its segment to have LED indicators and tail light apart from the LED headlight.
Engine & Performance
The engine (8.19PS and 8.7Nm) has been tuned for fuel economy and low-end grunt for commuting in the dense city traffic. Our mileage tests concluded with the Radeon giving 66.29 kmpl in city conditions and highway riding returned a mileage of 63.97 kmpl.
Additionally, the 2026 Radeon has a low rpm assist feature that helps you maneuver through heavy traffic with just clutch modulation and eases the strain on your right hand. This isn’t really necessary as the clutch is already light, but is a welcome feature to have.
Safety & Hardware
The most affordable Radeon variant has drum brakes at both ends: 130 mm front & 110 mm rear. The suspension setup is plush enough for varied road conditions. The front suspension is a telescopic fork while the rear unit is a pair of shock absorbers with 5-step preload adjustability.

The newly facelifted 2026 Radeon is one of the more affordable commuter bikes, the LED setup makes it look fresh. By making the all-LED lighting and low-rpm assist as standard, TVS ensured that the base variant has a very good value for what it offers in its price segment.
But if safety is your primary concern and you are willing to cough up an additional Rs 6,000 then we recommend you the top-spec Digi Disc variant as it has a better stopping power due to the front disc brake. Otherwise, the Base variant is a really good value-for-money purchase.
