Honda XR300 L & XR300 Rally: 2026 Colours Explained
While Honda has kept the colour lineup quite simple, they look pretty good

Honda has finally entered India's small-capacity dual-sport/ADV space with two new bikes, the XR300 L and the XR300 Rally. Recently launched in October, 2026, they are priced at Rs 1,83,000 and Rs 2,08,000 (ex-showroom, Bangalore) respectively. Both bikes are available in two colours, and Extreme Red is the only shade they share. Here is every colour, who it suits, and the details you should know before booking.\
Honda XR300 L Colours
The Honda XR300L is the more trail-focused bike of the two. It has minimal bodywork and no windscreen, so the paint does a lot of the visual work. It comes in two colours:
Extreme Red

Red-blue combo is the trademark colour Honda uses for many of its off-road bikes as well as in motorsports. In fact, the brand uses this palette even on its Dakar bike. With no fairing or screen to break up the lines, the red tank and fenders define the look, especially with that massive ‘Honda’ stickering. It’s the pick for anyone who wants the XR300 L to look unmistakably like a Honda.
Shasta White

Not to be mistaken with the Hindi word, this shade of white gives the XR300 L a cleaner, more modern look. It stays visible in low light, which is useful on dusty trails and unlit roads. The trade-off is upkeep. A bike built for mud and dirt will show every splash on a light finish, so expect to wash it often. It’s ideal for riders who prefer an understated look and don't mind regular cleaning. It also suits anyone planning to add accessories or stickers later, since white is a blank canvas for them. Here’s an interesting tidbit: the white shade for the Honda Navi was also called Shasta White!
Honda XR300 Rally Colours
The Honda Rally is the more touring-oriented bike. It draws on Honda's Dakar-winning rally heritage and adds a taller windscreen, front fairing, hand guards and a larger fuel tank over the XR300 L. It also comes in two colours:
Extreme Red

On the Rally, the red works with the rally-style graphics, fairing and screen to create the most race-inspired look in the range. It is great for riders who want the full rally look and plan to split their time between touring and trails. It's the right choice if you want the bike to turn heads at every fuel stop.
True Black

While this looks a bit more subtle, the yellow highlights really pop out, and it contrasts quite well. It reminds us a bit of the yellow colour in the Suzuki V-Strom SX too. It’s ideal for those who want a more mature look, but still want a bit of funkiness in their ride.
