BREAKING: Hero Xoom 125 Launch Planned This Year
Hero will also be reviving the Destini 110
Hero is planning to release several new products in 2023. One of the new releases is a larger version of the Xoom 110 sporty scooter with a more powerful 125cc engine. Hero wants to establish itself as a strong player in the sporty scooter market.
The Xoom 110 scooter received positive feedback for its lightweight design, youthful appearance, and enjoyable riding experience. It is a great choice for beginners looking for a sporty scooter. The hope is that the same qualities will be carried over in the new 125cc sporty scooter.
Hero is expected to use the same 124.6cc engine from the Maestro Edge 125 scooter, so the power output should remain unchanged at around 9.11PS and 10.4Nm. In our performance tests, the Maestro 125 ranked in the middle of the pack. With the lighter body of the Xoom 125, we expect the performance will be more lively.
In addition to the Xoom 125, Hero will also release an updated version of the Destini scooter. The Destini line has been known for its simplicity and elegant design, though the 110cc version is no longer available. The new Destini, then, is expected to have a very affordable price, even if it means sacrificing some fancy features.
We hope Hero will offer competitive prices for both scooters. The Xoom 125 will likely start at around Rs 75,000, while the Destini might have a starting price as low as Rs 65,000 (both ex-showroom).
