2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS125 vs TVS Raider: Which One Has Better Features?

The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 was recently updated, and the top-end variant now comes with ABS modes and a new console. It goes up against the TVS Raider 125 TFT DD variant, which is the new top-end variant in the TVS Raider lineup. We have compared both to give you a clearer picture of the bike with better features 

The TVS Raider 125 TFT DD variant, launched earlier this month, offers a more premium experience, in our opinion, thanks to the TFT console. The console has a clean layout and feels quite upmarket as well. Whereas the one offered on the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is the same as the one we have seen on the Bajaj Pulsar NS160. Don’t get us wrong, the console has all the essential features, but it just doesn’t feel that premium. 

The TVS Raider 125 gets two riding modes: Eco and Power, which modulate the engine’s performance. The Eco mode offers better fuel efficiency and activates the start-stop system, which cuts off the engine while idling. The rider can just turn it back on by pulling in the clutch. With Power mode, riders can get a quicker throttle response and slightly better performance. The Raider also gets TVS’ iGo Assist, which uses the starter motor to offer an electric boost while accelerating. 

The Bajaj Pulsar NS125, on the other hand, offers 3 ABS modes: Road, Rain and Off-road, which modulate the level of intervention. This feature is only available on the top-end ABS variant, which was recently launched. We think this feature is quite useful, as it allows riders to adjust the ABS intervention level as per the road surface. For lower intervention, riders can use the off-road mode, and for higher intervention, the rain mode. For a balance between the two, Road mode is best.

It is clear that the TVS Raider is able to offer more features at a lower price point. So from a value-for-money perspective, the TVS Raider 125 seems to be the obvious choice. But if you’re looking for something a lot more muscular-looking, you can consider the Bajaj Pulsar NS125. It manages to offer all the essential features while also looking cool.
