2023 Bullet 350 vs Classic 350: Differences Explained

The launch of the 2023 Bullet 350 has raised questions in everyone’s mind about the similarities and differences with the Classic 350. Let’s have a look at them here:  

Colours & Price

Royal Enfield offers a host of attractive colour options for both the 2023 Bullet 350 and the Classic 350. The standout difference between the two is that the Bullet 350 gets gorgeous handpainted pinstripes on the tank, offering a touch of individuality. Bodywork:

The Bullet 350 gets a single-seat setup instead of the split-seat setup in the Classic 350. The rear fender is boxier than the circular rear fender on the Classic 350. Also, the Bullet 350’s airbox is rectangular (as opposed to oval-shaped unit in the Classic 350) and gets chromed-out 3d badging (except for the base Bullet variant) on the tank and the triangular utility boxes on the sides. Despite the separate seat setup, the seat height for both bikes is the same at 805mm.

Similarities

Apart from the changes mentioned above, the rest of the bodywork of both bikes like the tank shape, utility box design, handlebars, instrument console, headlight and tailight, front fender and the switchgears are the same. Also similar is the 349cc air-cooled, counter-balanced single-cylinder J-series engine making 20.2PS and 27Nm. The 2023 Bullet 350 and the Classic 350 get 41mm telescopic fork and twin emulsion shock absorber setup, 300mm front and 270mm rear disc brake setup with dual-channel ABS while the base variants get a rear drum brake with single-channel ABS. Also what’s common on both bikes is the instrument cluster. It’s a semi-digital console with an LCD inset. 

Verdict:

All in all, the two bikes are a lot similar in several aspects, and more importantly, the riding dynamics. So it all boils down to the kind of design you like.
