Top 5 Motorcycles To Consider Buying This Diwali

With the festive season around the corner, it is time to buy new things. It is a great time to buy a two wheeler especially with manufacturers offering tempting festive discounts and offers. If you are on the lookout for a new motorcycle, here are 5 motorcycles you should definitely check out.

Hero Xtreme 160R (Rs 1.00 lakh):

The Xtreme 160R is Hero’s answer to the 160cc segment and a fantastic one at that. This all new motorcycle gets a sporty bodywork, all-LED lighting and a digital instrument console. Power comes from a new 163cc air-cooled motor that delivers 15.22PS and 14Nm making it the second most powerful motorcycle in the segment after the Apache RTR 160 4V. TVS Apache RTR 200 4V (Rs 1,31,500):

TVS has given the Apache RTR 200 4V a comprehensive update just before the festive season. The 197.75cc motor now makes more power and torque and gets 3 riding modes. It gets a preload adjustable Showa front fork, a first for the segment and even two segments above! Besides this the new Apache gets a new colour scheme and revised headlamp. Check out how different is the new Apache compared to its predecessor

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 (Rs 1.75 lakh):

The new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is based on the new J-platform. It gets a new frame and a new, more modern long-stroke 350cc motor that is more refined than the UCE motor on the Classic 350. The spiritual successor to the Thunderbird 350X is now even more adept at touring with features such as a semi-digital instrument console with Bluetooth and navigation connectivity. Get more details about this all-new RE here.

    Honda H’Ness CB350 (Rs 1.85 lakh):

The Honda H’Ness CB350 competes directly with the RE Meteor and in many ways is similar. Like the Meteor, it gets Bluetooth based navigation and a long stroke motor. That said, the Highness feels more premium thanks to all-LED lighting and fantastic fit and finish levels. Its long stroke motor makes slightly more power and torque as well. BMW G 310 R (Rs 2.45 lakh):

The BS6 variant of the BMW G 310 R gets new livery and a new LED headlamp. More importantly, it receives a substantial price cut of Rs 54,000 which now means the G 310 R undercuts the KTM 390 Duke by Rs 12,000. It continues to use the same underpinnings and the BS6 compliant liquid-cooled 313cc motor delivers the same 34PS and 28Nm as before. Know more details about the new G 310 R here.

One of the best in this segment
Refined engine, comfortable ergonomics, strong brakes and easy maintenance. It offers good performance and enough features for daily rides and long trips. Very refined engine by Honda, great value for money. Very comfortable with strong torque and a good exhaust note. Reliable, smooth and enjoyable for both city rides and highways. Honda is so good that the weight of the bike is 190kg but it feels like a light weight vehicle. Yes. It offers great handling, balance and comfort. Despite its weight, it feels easy to ride in traffic and inspires confidence. Great braking and great performance and also it gives confidence to overtake other slow bike.

Honda H'ness is: Better than Royal Enfield for long term reliability easier to maintain more refined for ageing rider comfort. This is honestly a very smart lifetime bike choice. DLX Pro black excellent choice by the way. Looks timeless won't look outdated after 10-15 years easy to maintain colour. The best bike money can buy.
