Aprilia has increased the prices across all variants of the SR and SXR range of scooters and the Storm 125 for the month of May. Here’s how much more you would have to pay should you want any of them:

As seen in the above table, the degree of hike for all the Aprilia scooters is substantial enough to affect your purchasing decision.
Aprilia 125cc scooters have quite a few rivals such as TVS Ntorq 125, Suzuki Burgman Street 125, Suzuki Avenis, Yamaha Fascino and Honda Grazia. However, in the 160cc segment, Aprilia currently has only the Yamaha Aerox 155 as the primary rival.
The Japanese scooter now costs just Rs 466 more than the Aprilia SXR 160 at Rs 1,37,539 (ex-showroom Pune), but offers better features and performance thanks to the Yamaha R15-sourced liquid-cooled 155cc engine.

This is a powerful model and very strongI chose this bike because it offers smooth highway performance, great mileage, friendly, comfort and stylish looks, despite having slightly stiff suspension for city rides and its very easy to drive. Comfort handling, the seats are well cushioned for long trips and the suspension handles bumps smoothly steering is light in the city and plants firmly at high speed and it's very good and its safety is really nice. Great performance and good mileage as well was getting around 35 kmpl in city. Great handling and high-speed stability with good breaks. Everything is good but the scooter is not suitable for tall riders. The boot could fit an entire full-face helmet inside as well along with space to keep a jacket as well.Read More
- Worth ConsideringI previously owned a Honda Activa. i just want a jump up from the vehicle. i tried dio but due to vast scooty available in roads. i just tried to find a unique scooter for my daily commute in the city. The comfort was good and can improve the seat quality a bit. Overall the experience from the service centre is nice. I mostly ride both in city and highway commuting daily in the city it is easy to maneuvere and in highway the performance is good. Ya definitely recommend it because of performance packed with great mileage. The suspension is on stiffer side when ride solo but with pillion it is nice to take a small bumps easily. Due to the stiffer suspension the stability is great.Read More
