Royal Enfield has announced it will pass on the full benefit of the GST Council’s recent tax reform (GST 2.0) to its customers. With GST on petrol-powered two-wheelers up to 350cc (or less) reduced from 28 percent to 18 percent, the company’s most popular motorcycles will now be more affordable as they all use a 349cc engine and it just meets the cut-off for the new GST norms.
The new prices will be effective from September 22, 2025, across Royal Enfield dealerships in India. The reduction is calculated on the ex-factory price, and the benefits vary depending on the variant, with cuts on the ex-showroom price going up to about Rs 19,000.

Royal Enfield has also mentioned that the revised, reduced GST rates will apply to its service, apparel and accessories range as well. The sad news for big bike enthusiasts is that the new GST 2.0 will apply for all of Royal Enfield’s 440cc, 450cc and 650cc range - so they will all get more expensive. As per GST 2.0, they will attract a flat 40% GST compared to the current 28% GST + 3% cess - essentially a 9% hike.
If you’re planning to buy a 350cc Royal Enfield bike, we’d suggest you wait for the new pricing to come into effect from September 22. On the other hand, those looking for bigger Royal Enfield bikes may have to make sure they book the bike at the earliest and get the delivery before the new prices come in on 22nd.

It's a really good bike to ride in the city. Really good torque and also has amazing exhaust. Note even with stock however the rear suspension is a bit hard. Not a bad bike at all if you are looking for daily commuting along with a good amount of power. Good but I think Royal Enfield should work on speed and mileage and they have to work on silencer because it is mainly known for its sound. If sound is getting silent in bs6, the bullet is generally getting downgraded ratings from all customers. Royal Enfield should work on this side and overall the experience is good.Read More
Good for city traffic and once the bike is ridden for 3/4 kms, its more smoother and with rising fuel price, the bike provides a very good mileage compared to its rivals and in long journeys Royal Enfield is much more reliable. This bike never disappoint. Very positive experience. I have been riding it in city traffic and compared to other bikes, this bikes is way more smoother and easy to handle. Good riding posture, good fuel economy, even long rides are fun to have in a Royal Enfield.
