Honda has hiked the prices of three of its ‘premium’ made-in-India bikes: Honda Unicorn, XBlade, and the Hornet 2.0. The Unicorn is now priced at Rs 95,738 as opposed to the previous pricing of Rs 94,548 and the Hornet 2.0 has gone from Rs 1,26,927 to Rs 1,28,195 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). Even with the increment, the overall pricing isn't substantially high as compared to its rival brands. No mechanical or cosmetic upgrades have been made to compensate for the hike. The price revision has more to do with the increasing raw material cost owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Hornet 2.0 packs an air-cooled 184.40cc single-cylinder engine that makes 17.26PS of power and 16.1Nm of torque. It competes with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. If you do timely service the bike from honda, you don’t have to worry about anything.
