  • The ADV160 gets a smaller 13-inch rear tyre, that should help it slightly over rough roads, given its rugged intent

  • Since the ADV160 has disc brakes at both ends, it could have a better braking performance

That said, while the suspension setup looks similar on paper, the ADV might be able to tackle broken and rough roads better.

  • The ADV’s TFT display gives it a slight edge over the Aerox

  • Also, all-LED lighting adds to ADV’s more premium appeal

If you're looking for a feature-packed experience, the Honda ADV160 looks more promising than the Yamaha Aerox 155.

BikeDekho Says

Both the Japanese maxi-scooters are good, and each appeals to a different set of riders. The Aerox is a street-focused scooter with sporty styling and sharp handling. It’s priced at Rs 1,44 530 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

On the other hand, the ADV160 features a rugged stance and an adventure-inspired design that looks off-road ready. While it’s not yet launched, we expect it to be priced at Rs 1.6 lakh (ex-showroom), which is slightly more than the Aerox.

User Reviews

Yamaha Aerox 155

The scooter is amazing. Great performance and good mileage as well was getting around 35 kmpl in city. Great handling and high-speed stability with good breaks. Everything is good but the scooter is not suitable for tall riders. The boot could fit an entire full-face helmet inside as well along with space to keep a jacket as well. Read More

I driven this scooter in Thailand. I wish it would be the same when it comes to India, mostly they reduce the power and might make it slow, but I'm still waiting for it. Its like a bike that's all it matters to me. I might tuned it though and might change alot of parts so it operates max with its power.Read More
