    All-New Honda ADV160 Maxi-Scooter Unveiled In India

    Honda has unveiled the all-new ADV160 maxi-scooter in India, just months after filing a design patent for the scooter in the country. The biggest highlights here arethat it gets an E-85 compliant flex fuel engine, and will be manufactured in India. This latest premium scooter brings an adventure-inspired design, a powerful engine and a host of modern features.

    It will also be the first The Honda ADV160 gets a rugged and tough-looking design language, with a tall windscreen, a bold split-LED headlight setup and LED indicators. Its chunky exhaust further adds to its adventure-scooter appeal. The scooter also gets a single-piece seat, which looks quite spacious, and should offer a comfortable riding position for both the rider and pillion. Adding to its ADV character are the wide block-pattern tyres at both ends with a 14-inch front alloy wheel. The suspension setup includes a conventional telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Practicality is taken care of by a 27-litre underseat storage compartment.

    Honda ADV160 Unveiled

    Powering the Honda ADV160 is a 156.9 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 16.3 PS and 14.9 Nm. However, the biggest highlight of the scooter is Honda’s Flextech technology, which makes the engine compatible with E85 fuel (which is 85% ethanol). Along with this, it can also run on E20 petrol.

    In terms of features, the ADV160 gets a 5-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. The system supports turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alerts, along with music controls. Safety features include single-channel ABS and switchable traction control. The scooter also gets keyless ignition for added convenience.

    Once launched in India, the Honda ADV160 will compete with the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Hero Xoom 160. With its rugged styling, larger engine and E85 compatibility, the ADV160 could bring a unique combination of adventure styling, performance and everyday practicality to India’s premium maxi-scooter segment. The ADV160 is expected to be launched in during the festive season, sometime in September 2026, and could be priced at around Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom).

      I driven this scooter in Thailand. I wish it would be the same when it comes to India, mostly they reduce the power and might make it slow, but I'm still waiting for it. Its like a bike that's all it matters to me. I might tuned it though and might change alot of parts so it operates max with its power.

      I like to ride a scooter, but in this market, not any other scooter compare to Honda, I decided a while ago that Honda come with 160cc engine in scooter. I will definitely buy, I am waiting for this from very long time, and I have a scooter Honda aviator since 13 to 15 years, I didn’t have any kind of problem with that, I believe in Honda.

      I like this scooter and I am waiting for this scooter to launch in India. I already driven this scooter in Thailand. I’m very exited for buy this scooter. Before the launch of this scooter, I’m planing to import this scooter but finally, it is going to lunch in India. I’m very happy and I recommend this to my friends, family and relatives to take a test drive. This is amazing adventure scooter.
