In this comparison, we put the Hero Glamour Drum variant head-to-head against the TVS Raider Single-Seat variant and see how they compare.
Design
The design of the Hero Glamour is stylish and premium. In the recent update package, it got a brand new colour scheme called ‘Black Metallic Silver’, a three-tone colour scheme that gives the bike a premium look. The bike now includes an LED headlight to improve the illumination of the road while riding in the dark. Overall, the graphics and metal-finished sticker adds to the finish.
On the other hand, the TVS Raider has a sporty design which looks very attractive and modern. It is equipped with a uniquely designed headlight. The Raider offers a sporty riding experience which will make commutes fun.
Engine
The Hero Glamour gets a 125cc air-cooled engine that produces 10.8PS at 7500rpm & 10.6Nm at 6000rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The Glamour also gets i3S technology, which is essentially a start-stop technology that shuts off the engine when the bike is stopped and restarts it when the clutch lever is pulled, which in theory should increase the bike’s fuel efficiency.
Although the TVS Raider is a small-capacity bike, its 124.8cc air & oil-cooled single-cylinder engine feels peppy to ride and it makes 11.38PS at 7500rpm & 11.2Nm at 6000rpm. It is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox. In terms of power, the TVS Raider clearly takes the cake.

While the higher SX (more expensive) variant gets a 5-inch loaded TFT instrument console. It also gets a small underseat storage, a USB charger, a helmet attention indication and a side-stand indicator with engine cut-off.
Underpinnings
Both bikes are suspended on telescopic forks. At the rear, the Glamour comes with dual shock absorbers while the Raider is equipped with a monoshock. The Glamour rolls on 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped with tubeless tyres. The Raider has 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.
Braking duties on the Glamour Drum variant are handled by a 130mm drum brake at both ends. The Raider comes with 130mm drum brakes at both ends. The kerb weight of the Glamour is 121.3kg and the Raider weighs 123kg. So in terms of underpinnings, both bikes are similar.

Which bike you should choose depends on what you are looking for.
