It is not just a naked version of the Apache RR 310

After months of waiting, TVS has launched the Apache RTR 310, a naked version of the RR 310. Here's what sets it apart:

Looks:

The RR 310 is fully faired, while the RTR 310 has a streetfighter style, similar to the Apache RTR 200. It even resembles the Ducati Streetfighter V4 with its bold LED headlights. The RTR 310 has a new aluminium bolt-on subframe, whereas the RR 310 has a one-piece frame. The RTR 310 also sports flashy eight-spoke alloy wheels.

Performance:

The RTR 310 isn't just a stripped-down version. It shares the same 312.2cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine but produces 1.6PS more power (35.6PS) and 1.4Nm more torque (28.7Nm).

Features:

The RTR 310 takes things up a notch. It boasts a 5-inch horizontal TFT display (compared to the vertical one on the RR 310). Both have TVS SmartXonnect and turn-by-turn navigation, with the added ability to connect your helmet communication and GoPro. The RTR 310 introduces a Supermoto mode that turns off the rear ABS for controlled sliding. It also comes with a six-axis IMU, enhancing features like cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and a bi-directional quickshifter.

Price

The prices for the TVS Apache RTR 310 start at Rs 2,42,990, whereas the RR 310 costs Rs 2,72,000 onwards.

In summary, the TVS Apache RTR 310 is feature-packed, more powerful, and more premium than the RR 310, all while being more affordable than the supersport variant. Stay tuned to BikeDekho for our upcoming first-ride review.
