Honda ADV125 Unveiled At EICMA 2026

Looks exactly like the ADV160, but gets a much smaller engine

Quick Highlights:

  • Honda ADV125 scooter unveiled at EICMA 2026

  • Gets a 29-litre underseat storage, and an 8-litre fuel tank

  • No launch plans for the Indian market as of now

Honda has unveiled the new ADV125, a 125cc crossover scooter that brings the rugged styling of its larger ADV models to a more commuter-friendly segment. Designed primarily for road use, the scooter also gets hardware aimed at handling rough roads, making it more versatile than a regular urban scooter.

Design And Features

The ADV125 gets sculpted bodywork inspired by Honda’s larger adventure scooters. Its rugged appearance is further enhanced by block-pattern tyres, high ground clearance and an upswept exhaust. It also gets an adjustable windscreen with two height settings and 75 mm of adjustment for better wind protection on longer rides.

Feature highlights include a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and Honda RoadSync support for navigation, calls and music. There is also a Type-C USB charging port in the front glovebox. Practicality is taken care of by 29 litres of luggage capacity and an 8-litre fuel tank, which Honda claims offers a riding range of over 350 km.

Engine And Performance

Powering the scooter is a 125 cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve, SOHC engine producing 12 PS at 8,750 rpm and 11.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The eSP+ motor also gets an idling stop function and has a claimed top speed of 97 kmph. Safety features include ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control (traction control), which helps prevent rear-wheel slip on low-grip surfaces.

Underpinnings

The scooter is built around a duplex steel cradle frame and gets 130 mm of front suspension travel and 110 mm at the rear. It rides on 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels, with a 240 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc. With 165 mm of ground clearance, a 780 mm seat height and a kerb weight of 133 kg, the ADV125 aims to offer a good balance of everyday usability and mild adventure capability.

BikeDekho Says

As of now, Honda has no plans to launch the ADV125 in the Indian market. However, the Japanese manufacturer recently launched its first E85 compliant scooter in India, the ADV160. If further down the line, Honda gets a demand for a more affordable version of the ADV160, then it could introduce the ADV125 in the Indian market.
