That said, it misses out on a TFT instrument console and turn-by-turn navigation, which the Ather Rizta, while being way more affordable, still gets.

Safety Features
On the safety front, the Yamaha EC-06 is equipped with CBS (Combined Braking System) as standard, ensuring balanced braking during city rides. It also rides on alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, which are far more practical for urban usage and make puncture repairs less of a hassle. That said, at a price tag of Rs 1,67,600 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the EC-06 was expected to at least come with single-channel ABS to further enhance its safety quotient.
