Oben Electric has launched the Rorr EZ Sigma at Rs 1,27,000 (ex-showroom, introductory), and is now the latest addition to its electric motorcycle lineup in India. It slots in above the Rorr EZ and below the Rorr, but now offers a new TFT console and reverse mode.

    Pricing

The 2025 Rorr EZ Sigma is available in two variants depending on the battery capacity: 3.4kWh version priced at Rs 1,27,000 and 4.4kWh priced at Rs 1,37,000 (both ex-showroom, introductory). The prices will later increase to Rs 1,47,000 and Rs 1,55,000 (ex-showroom) respectively. Here’s a detailed look at all the different versions of the Rorr:

    Design

The Oben Rorr EZ Sigma continues with the same neo-retro inspired styling approach with a round headlight, clean lines, and overall minimal design language. It is offered in colour options: Electric Red, Photon White, Electro Amber, and Surge Cyan.

    Battery And Range

The Oben Rorr EZ Sigma gets an LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery encased in an aluminium housing with an IP67 water and dust proof rating. The 3.4kWh version delivers an IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range of 140km and fast charges from 0-80% in 1.5 hours, while the 4.4kWh variant has a 175km range and 2 hour fast charging time. The normal charging times for both (0-100%) are 5 hours and 7 hours respectively.

    Motor And Performance

The motor specs of this new Oben bike remain in line with the Rorr EZ, but it produces a bit more torque at the wheel while the motor power and torque are unchanged (7.5kW, 52Nm). That said, as per the brand’s claimed figures, the acceleration and the top speed are the same. It also still gets 3 riding modes (3.4kWh/4.4kWh): Eco (40kmph top speed, 110/140km range), City (60kmph, 90/110km) and Havoc (95kmph, 70/90km).

    Underpinnings

This electric bike is built on a steel chassis, 37mm telescopic fork, and a 7-step adjustable monoshock. It gets disc brakes with a combined braking system and 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends with tubeless tyres: 110-section front, 130-section rear. It has a (bit tall) 810 mm seat height, a generous 200mm ground clearance, 230mm water wading capacity, and weighs between 143-148kg depending on the variant. Notably, it gets a small storage space where the ‘fuel’ tank is, and even a small underseat storage where the charger can be placed.

    Features

The new bike gets a reverse mode and 5-inch full colour TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, call and message alerts. Additional features include regenerative braking, 'Driver Alert System' (it alerts the rider when the motor is switched on, as they do not make noise while idling unlike petrol engines), and 2 USB charging ports. Remote tracking, anti-theft alerts, real-time vehicle tracking, and geo-fencing are enabled through the Oben smartphone app. All said and done, the TFT console provides pretty much the same set of information as the LCD console, so it’s just a matter of ‘looking’ premium.

    BikeDekho Says

The Rorr EZ Sigma sits in the middle of Oben’s electric bike range: above the Rorr EZ, below the Rorr and rivals the Revolt RV400, Ola Roadster X. The colour TFT console and reverse mode are the 2 main highlights of the bike and are not offered with the other two. But we think the Rs 7,000 price premium for these 2 features feels slightly on the higher side especially considering the limited updates it offers. We’d have liked it if along with the TFT console, Oben had provided a full-fledged navigation.
