BREAKING: Hero MotoCorp Has Launched The Xoom 125 At Auto Expo 2025

With prices starting from Rs 86,900, it is being touted as the quickest 125cc scooter in India

Quick News Highlights:

  • Hero Xoom 125 price starts from Rs 86,900 (ex-showroom)

  • The 124.6ccc engine produces 9PS and 10.4Nm

  • It gets a sharp design, along with 14-inch wheels

Hero MotoCorp has launched the much anticipated Xoom 125, with prices starting from Rs 86,900 (ex-showroom). The scooter was initially showcased at the 2023 EICMA show in Milan, Italy and now has been launched at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. It is Hero's answer to the growing popularity of sporty and performance oriented 125cc scooters. It comes in two variants: VX and ZX.

Design

The Hero Xoom 125 brings a fresh and sharp design to the 125cc scooter segment just like its smaller sibling, the Xoom 110. The overall design will appeal more to younger riders and those looking for something sporty. The Xoom comes in a total of four colours, the VX in two colours: Metallic Turbo Blue, Matte Storm Grey, and ZX in Matte Neon Lime and Inferno Red.

Engine

The scooter is powered by a 124.6cc engine, same as the one found in the new Destini 125. This engine delivers a maximum output of 9PS and 10.4Nm. Hero claims its the quickest 125cc scooter with a 0-60kmph time of 7.6 seconds.

Underpinnings

Suspension wise, the scooter comes with a telescopic fork and a monoshock. The 14-inch wheels provide better comfort over bad roads as compared to 10 and 12-inch wheels. For brakes, it gets a front disc and rear drum brake, along with a Combi-Braking System (CBS).

Features

The Xoom 125 gets LED lighting all around with cornering front lights just like the Xoom 110. It also has a fully digital LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS alerts. It also gets an external fuel-filler cap for convenient refuelling.

Rivals

The Xoom rivals other sporty 125cc scooters like the TVS NTorq 125, Suzuki Avenis, Aprilia SR 125, and the Yamaha RayZR 125.

BikeDekho Says

The Hero Xoom 125 stands out with its design and 14-inch wheels in the sporty 125cc scooter segment in India. It is aimed at young riders and those looking for something sporty, while still being fuel efficient and priced competitively.

overall good and reliable machine

I chose it because it comes with 14 inches big wheel which are excellent at this price. It also has extensive and reliable service network. On top of that, it looks really very good. Mileage is good too. I have ridden it for around 2700 km. There was a slight vibration around 30-40km/h but the service center fixed it for free of cost. I ride it quite aggressively so I think that might happen. Nice experience. Yes, I brought it for 1.05k and in that price, its an excellent machine. It gives good mileage around 40-42km in the city and it should be even better on highway. The 14 inches wheels make ride better.Read More

Good motorcycle for young people

Recently bought this scooter for my daily use and I am a college going student in Bengaluru but bought this scooter in my hometown. Overall this is a very good scooter for this young nd energetic generation, if u are fond of Chunky design and a big road presence then it's a must go scooter. This is scooter not so suitable for family buyers as it can accommodate 2 members comfortably and the pillion seat is higher on its side so elder people can't seat that easily and even u have to compromise in boot space which is a less for carrying luggage or other things, but on terms of performance and stability it stands out. Also I am getting a better mileage with this scooter( city 40-45, highway 45-55). But breaking would have been improved in this scooter and also horn is not suitable for peak bengaluru traffic it's not loud enough. And also usb charging port would have been placed n a better side. But my overall experience with this scooter is great till now, if u are looking for a sporty scooter then go for it ..... Read More
