Maxi scooter, sporty scooter, an ADV, streetfighters…the list of two-wheelers expected to be showcased at the event is quite interesting

We already know that the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 will be held from January 17 to January 22, 2025. Two-wheeler manufacturers such as Honda, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, TVS, Royal Enfield, Yamaha and Suzuki made their appearance at the 2024 event. We don’t have any confirmation as to whether those particular manufacturers or others will be participating at the 2025 event. But they do participate in next year’s event as well, here are some of the two-wheelers we can expect to be showcased at the event:

Honda might showcase the upcoming Activa Electric, which has been in development for some years now. The electric scooter is expected to be a mass market product like its petrol-powered counterpart and as such, the pricing is expected to be aggressive as well. Hero MotoCorp is expected to launch the upcoming Xoom 160 at Hero World 2025, after which, we expect the scooter to be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The maxi-scooter was first unveiled at EICMA 2023 and is powered by a 156cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 14PS and 13.7Nm. The Xoom 125R, expected to be launched in November 2024 could also be showcased at the expo.

Yamaha is expected to bring some of its big bikes to India by the end of 2024. The Tenere 700 is one such bike and if the ADV is exported directly from Japan, then we think it could be priced around the Rs 14-15 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. It is powered by a 689cc parallel twin engine producing 73.4PS and 68Nm. The standard MT-09 along with the Y-AMT variant are expected to be showcased as well. The bike is quite fun to ride and has the possibility of being one of the best middleweight naked bikes for India. The R7 and the MT-07 could also make their way to our shores by the end of this year and the Japanese manufacturer might showcase those two at the Bharat Mobility Expo as well.

Bajaj Auto showcased its flex-fuel powered Pulsar NS160 last month and we think that bike could be showcased at the expo as well. The other variants of Bajaj Freedom could also make an appearance. With alternative sources of energy being the main theme of the 2024 event, it is expected that the 2025 event could feature bikes and scooters from manufacturers like TVS, Royal Enfield, Hero MotoCorp and Suzuki that are powered by various alternative sources of energy.
