Review after 1 year of riding CB300F flex fuel.
Good for daily and highway rides, mileage is good, service maintenance cost is low, suspension is not hard, light on pocket, i choose it for daily office use and its a great bike. 1 year completed and no issues yet. Positives- good mileage, good suspension, low cost on service, best for daily use Great for highway rides, pillion rider is comfortable. Negatives- headlight not that good, horn switch will irritate you for sometime. For daily commuters this bike is great and also if you do weekend rides on highway. Who want above 250cc bike with good mileage can buy this bike. Flex fuel version has no problem with e20 petrol, it will not effect bike mileage and engine too.

A powerful no-nonsense future proof machine
Previously I rode the Yamaha FZX which was comfortable but non aggressive. I have always missed the pull and throttle response. Suddenly I got to know about this bike. The main highlights that attracted me include the fact that it supports up to one hundred percent ethanol and has almost all the essential safety features like dual channel ABS and traction control. It delivers max power and torque output in the lower RPM range which is perfect for city riding and highway touring without stressing the engine. The 177mm ground clearance is ideal for light off roading. It has no nonsense bluetooth features that only drain the battery. Additionally it features simple looks a 6 speed gearbox and USD front forks. I did a test ride and fell in love with this machine. I have ridden it almost 1000 km so far and am very much satisfied. Initially there were some hiccups here and there that I felt. The rear suspension is very stiff. I will try to adjust the preload setting according to my preference and will see if that helps. With a pillion the riding comfort is excellent. Actually stiffer suspension means road stability. If you are fully geared up and load your bike with luggage and even a pillion there will be no issue. However I am facing problems while riding alone in off road situations. It lacks a main stand so you need a paddock stand if you load your bike frequently. Chain maintenance is a headache for the same reason. Even after the first service I am getting below 30kmpl mileage. My average speed is 20kmph so there is no red lining involved yet I am still not getting good mileage so far. I will certainly recommend this bike if it is not discontinued as rumored. It is ideal for those who have a budget of two lakhs and want to experience a good amount of torque and power. It is a future proof bike. People are getting over 40 kmpl mileage after the second service. However I will not recommend this bike for lightweight riders or those who primarily ride alone with almost no luggage and do mainly off road riding because the suspension is not suitable for this kind of riding style.

    Honda CB300F Flex-Fuel Latest Updates

Honda has launched the CB300F Flex Fuel in India. Here’s a list of other bikes that you can buy at a similar price, including sportbikes, naked bikes, ADV and more.

How much does the Honda CB300F Flex Fuel Cost?

The Honda CB300F Flex Fuel is available in a single variant and two colour options: Sports Red and Mat Axis Grey Metallic. It is priced at Rs 1,70,000 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

What features does the Honda CB300F Flex Fuel get?

The Honda CB300F gets all-LED lighting, an LCD instrument console which displays crucial data, including instantaneous and average mileage, distance until empty, gear position indicator and battery voltage, apart from regular info such as speed, tachometer, tripmeter, odometer readings, among others. The digital screen comes with a 5-level brightness adjustment. The bike also gets an ‘Intelligent Ethanol Indicator’, which notifies the rider when the ethanol content in the fuel is more than 85 percent.

Additionally, the bike gets the Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS), allowing users to connect their mobile phones for hands-free calling, playing music, checking the weather and getting turn-by-turn navigation assistance by using the switch cube on the left side along with voice commands. However, you will still need to spend extra in buying a helmet-mounted Bluetooth device to use all these features. The motorcycle further gets a USB-C charging port, engine start/stop switch, hazard indicator, and split seat setup.

How much power does the Honda CB300F Flex Fuel make?

The Honda CB300F Flex Fuel is powered by a 293. 52cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine which makes 24. 8PS at 7,500rpm and 25. 9Nm at 5,500rpm. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. Basic traction control is also provided as a standard to aid the rider.

What underpinnings does the Honda CB300F Flex Fuel get?

The Honda CB300F Flex Fuel is built on a diamond-type frame with an inverted fork and a 5-step adjustable monoshock unit. Brakes consist of a 276 mm disc brake at the front wheel and a 220 mm disc at the rear wheel, with dual-channel ABS as standard. The Honda CB300F Flex Fuel gets a 110-section tyre at the front and a 150-section tyre at the rear, both rolling on 17-inch alloy wheels. In terms of proportions, the Honda CB300F gets a ground clearance of 177mm, a kerb weight of 153kg, and a fuel tank capacity of 14. 1 litres. The seat height of the Honda CB300F is 789mm.

What are the rivals of the Honda CB300F Flex Fuel?

The Honda CB300F Flex Fuel is the only flex-fuel bike in the 250-300cc segment so it does not have any natural rivals. But, it competes against the other 300cc bikes which include the Suzuki Gixxer 250, KTM Duke 250, Honda CB300F and the Honda CB300R. Other alternatives include the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z and Royal Enfield Classic 350.
