Honda CB750 Hornet

The Honda CB750 Hornet is a middleweight naked motorcycle that combines strong performance with compact proportions. It is positioned as a versatile streetfighter, the Hornet offers a blend of everyday usability, sporty handling and modern electronics, making it suitable for both daily commuting and weekend rides. On June 12, 2026, Honda launched a new E-Clutch variant of the CB750 Hornet.

The Honda CB750 Hornet features aggressive streetfighter styling with sharp body panels, a muscular fuel tank and a compact tail section. Its minimalist design gives it a sporty and contemporary appearance, while the upright riding position enhances its overall practicality.

The motorcycle comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity, ride-by-wire throttle, multiple riding modes (Sport, Standard, Rain and User), dual channel ABS, switchable traction control, all-LED lighting and Honda’s E-Clutch technology. The E-Clutch technology allows riders to stop, start and shift gears without operating the clutch lever, while still retaining the option of manual clutch operation whenever required.

Rider Comfort

The CB750 Hornet should offer a comfortable riding experience thanks to its slightly upright ergonomics, wide handlebar and decently spacious seat. The relaxed riding triangle should make it suitable for both city riding and longer journeys.

Pillion Comfort

Pillion comfort too should be decent, with a reasonably spacious rear seat. However, the motorcycle’s sporty design means long-distance touring with a pillion may not be its primary focus.

The CB750 Hornet E-Clutch is powered by a 755cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing 91.77PS at 9,500rpm and 75Nm at 7,250rpm. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox, the motor offers strong low and mid-range performance along with a lively top-end character. The addition of the E-Clutch system further enhances convenience, especially in stop-and-go traffic.

City And Highway Performance

The parallel-twin engine should provide excellent versatility across different riding conditions. In the city, the E-Clutch system should make frequent gear shifts and traffic riding less demanding. On the highway, the engine’s strong performance should allow for effortless cruising and quick overtakes, making the Hornet a capable all-rounder.

Brakes

The motorcycle comes equipped with 296mm dual front, and a single 240mm rear disc brake setup, along with dual-channel ABS. All of this should offer strong and predictable stopping performance for both daily riding and spirited use.
