India Bike Week: A Must-Visit for Every Biker

Riders from all across India ride to IBW to celebrate the spirit of biking and the brotherhood and the thrill begins the moment you hop on your motorcycle to ride to the festival

India Bike Week is more than just a festival, it represents the brotherhood of bikers from across the country. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that it is also one of the driving forces behind the growing community of motorcycle enthusiasts and the rising motorcycle riding culture throughout India. There are many highlights of the event, which are not just limited to the event but start right from when you sit on your motorcycle to attend the India Bike Week (IBW).

Riding to India Bike Week

Riding to India Bike Week is a different experience in itself. On the way to IBW, you meet all kinds of riders riding all kinds of bikes, from a Yamaha RX100  to a 2,500cc Triumph Rocket. You see riders from all over India riding towards Goa to celebrate motorcycling, and actually feel what the term ‘the Great Migration of IBW’ means. You meet familiar faces and even make friends on your way to the festival. Even if you head out solo for IBW, you will end up making friends on your way and at the festival of course.

The Vibe in Goa

India Bike Week isn’t confined to the festival grounds; it spreads the spirit of motorcycles across all of North Goa. Wherever or whenever you go, you will find different bikes ranging from smaller capacity bikes, big bikes, custom bikes and even restored vintage bikes, which you can drool over.

What is India Bike Week about?

The India Bike Week is a celebration of motorcycling and our love for motorcycles. It is a celebration of brotherhood and sisterhood among all the bikers in India. People come to celebrate, enjoy, meet friends and make new ones. That is what this festival is all about.

India Bike Week is a festival where you have many motorcycle and riding gear brands in the same place. IBW gives you ease of access to the top officials of the brands who are present there like KTM, Harley Davidson, Hero, Bajaj, Gulf, Rynox, Raida, Reise, Tiivra, KYT and more. You can visit them and enjoy a good conversation or give them feedback on what you think about the brands and their products. You also get the chance to meet your inspirations and your favourite motorcycle influencers, riders, motorcycle athletes, mechanics and custom shop owners, who inspire you to ride.

There are also thrilling motorcycle stunt shows by the experts including motorcycle cartwheels in the air, maut ka kua and more. Moreover, there are also different competitions in which you can participate including the Harley Davidson X440 Flat Track, Hero XPulse 200 4V Mud Rush, hill climbing racing, Tiivra and Bajaj Auto’s time challenges and more!

However, the India Bike Week isn’t just limited to motorcycles. It also features live concerts of many famous artists on the same stage. This time around there were Divine, Brodha V, Smokey and many more, setting the vibe of the event. There are stand-up comedy shows as well as motorcycle tales by famous and experienced riders like Harsh Man Rai, Vir Nakai, Vijay Thomas and more inspiring personalities. If you want to shop for riding gear, you’ll have all the best brands of the country present there and if you want the merchandise, then you can find many stalls at IBW selling motorcycle merch as well.

One thing that not everyone enjoys at the fest is the constant revving of bikes. While we don’t encourage doing this with your bike, we can’t deny that it’s also a part of India Bike Week and adds to the unique atmosphere of the event.

Yes, attending the fest does come with some costs, including tickets, travel, and accommodation in Goa, but it’s all worth it in the end! The experience that India Bike Week offers is something that can only be felt. So, if you’re a biker and want to celebrate the spirit of biking and the brotherhood, you should visit India Bike Week at least once in your life. Even if you’re more of a car enthusiast, you’ll still love the energy and vibe of this incredible festival.

Words can’t fully capture the experience of India Bike Week, but simply put, it makes you feel like you’re part of something truly big. It’s where the festival’s tagline, ‘Everyone Rides As One’, can literally be felt with your heart.
