TVS Apache RTX 300 Adventure Bike Launch Tomorrow, Here's What To Expect

After months of speculation, teasers, and spy shots, TVS will finally launch its first adventure bike – the TVS Apache RTX 300, tomorrow, on 15 October 2025. We already know what the Apache RTX 300 will look like as it was showcased at Bharat Mobility Global Expo (Auto Expo 2025).

Design And Styling

Later even a design patent was filed, and it’s been spotted testing multiple times already. It’s more of a road-biased, touring-focused adventure bike than a hardcore offroader. It has all the typical styling clues of an ADV: an upright stance with a front beak, split headlights, a tall windscreen, muscular tank shrouds, a slim tail section, and an upswept exhaust. Even though it’s an adventure bike, it still has the typical sportiness associated with TVS Apache bikes.

Engine And Performance

Powering it'll be TVS’ new ‘RT-XD4’ 299cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that was showcased at MotoSoul 2024. It’ll make 35PS, 28.5Nm, and be paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. TVS has been well-known to equip its bikes with tons of electronics, so the Apache RTX 300 will be no different. We expect the bike to come with goodies like cruise control, multiple riding modes, switchable traction control, and perhaps even a bi-directional quickshifter.

Chassis, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels, And Tyres

From previous spy shots we also know that it’ll have a steel trellis frame, bolt-on subframe, an inverted fork, and a monoshock – likely with preload adjustability. Whether the fork is fully adjustable as standard or offered as an optional extra through the BTO (Built To Order) program remains to be seen. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, wrapped in dual-purpose tyres. It’ll have disc brakes at both ends, likely shared with the TVS Apache RR 310 and RTR 310 – probably with switchable dual-channel ABS.

Features And Technology

The full-colour TFT console from the TVS Apache RTR 310 (now also the TVS Ntorq 150, top variants of the 160 4V and 200 too) will mostly be present. It will get Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, phone alerts, music controls, among others. Expect TVS to also announce accessories such as pannier sets, crash guards, an even taller windscreen, and other touring add-ons. We also know from older spy images that it’ll have all-LED lighting.

Expected Price, Delivery Timeline, Rivals, And Verdict

We expect the upcoming TVS adventure bike to be priced around Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). TVS could’ve launched the bike at MotoSoul but it looks like the brand wants to capitalise on the recent GST cuts as well as the festive rush, thanks to Diwali. While the launch is tomorrow, we wouldn’t be surprised the deliveries start around Diwali. That would be perfect timing for those looking to purchase a capable, feature-packed TVS adventure bike this festive season.
