TVS has launched the Apache RR 310 BS6 with its greener motor and new features now cost Rs 2.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This brings it closer to its rival, the KTM RC 390 BS6 which as part of its 2020 updates receives just new colours and graphics. With just Rs 8,000 separating the two, the Apache brings a lot to the table especially when it comes to features. Here’s a feature comparison between the two.

As part of its BS6 update, the TVS Apache RR 310 BS6 gets a new 5-inch colour TFT instrument console. Besides having 4 different display screens, the console shows gear position, engine temperature and fuel level, average and instantaneous fuel efficiency, 0-60kmph times, top speed, average speed and even lap time. It also gets Glide Through Technology which also features on the Apache RTR 200 4VBS6 and RTR 160 4V BS6. The tech boosts acceleration at very low throttle openings allowing for a smooth launch.

The RC 390 BS6 continues to use ride-by-wire but misses out on rider modes. Besides a slipper clutch, both the Apache RR 310 and RC 390 get dual-channel ABS.
