Triumph Motorcycles have extended their discount offer of Rs 10,000 off on the ex-showroom prices of the Triumph Speed 400 and Triumph Scrambler 400 X until August 31, 2024. After the discount is applied, the Speed 400 is available at Rs 2,24,496 and the Scrambler 400 X at Rs 2,54,495 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
Earlier this offer was announced on July 1, 2024, in celebration of the selling of over 50,000 units of made-in-India Triumph 400cc bikes in more than 50 countries and was valid till July 31, 2024 only. The discount extension was in response to the overwhelming response to the customer reception in July.
Since the launch of the 400cc Triumph bikes, Triumph has expanded its dealership network from 15 to over 100 making the Triumph bikes more accessible. The company has also been working on their community-building activities like organising rides and events.
The Speed 400 is equipped with a 398.15cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 40PS at 8000rpm and 37.5Nm at 6500rpm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike comes packed with a slip-and-assist clutch, ride-by-wire throttle and dual-channel ABS.
While the Scrambler 400 X is powered by the same engine, it gets different components to become a scrambler, such as a long-travel suspension setup and a larger 19-inch front wheel. The bike also gets front switchable ABS, traction control and ride-by-wire throttle.
Overall, both bikes offer very good ride quality and have an excellent road presence while not being too loud in terms of styling or design. The discount is like a cherry on the cake!

Classic look & a hell lot of powerThis bike has a classic look & also packs a lot of power. Its suspension is perfectly smooth in city rides and needs a little adjustment for the highways. The slipper clutch helps a lot. As a beginer, handling this bike seemed hasslefree. All in all it can be called a perfect city bike for relatively lesser traffic. The mileage is good enough on highways. The raw power it packs feels awesome. Handling this bike is too easy for a beginer like me. The only downside in this bike is the unavailability of smartphone connectivity. Also the seat could have more cushions so as to support on longer rides. If you are a beginer in the higher cc segment, you should go for this one. It doesn't give you the seating comfort that a cruiser can give.
