We got our hands on the sales numbers in July from SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers). There have been some noteworthy developments as far as scooter sales are concerned, and here are the top 5 best-sellers:

The Honda Activa range includes the Activa 110 and the Activa 125. Both the scooters are quite popular in the country due to their family-friendly design, bulletproof reliability, accessible seat height and good mileage. The scooters also come with a lot of practical features and sell like hot cakes.
Honda sold 2,37,413 units of the Activa range in the month of July 2025, a substantial 29.54% increase in MoM (Month-On-Month) sales and a 21.37% increase in YoY (Year-On-year) sales. Unsurprisingly, it continues to be the best selling scooter in India, tallying more units than the TVS Jupiter range, the Suzuki Access 125 and the Honda Dio range combined.

The TVS Jupiter range includes the Jupiter 110 and the Jupiter 125. Both the scooters are bread-and-butter models for TVS as they sell in good numbers. The TVS Jupiter range offers several innovative features along with excellent practicality from the massive 33-litre boot space on both scooters.
TVS sold 1,24,876 scooters in the month of July 2025, a good 15.64% increase in the MoM sales numbers. The YoY sales have also shown a significant increase of 67.25% when compared to the sales numbers from the month of July 2024.

The Suzuki Access 125 is one of the best-selling 125cc scooters, with over 68,172 units sold in the month of July 2025. This is a 32.23% increase in MoM sales, but the YoY sales had a slight dip of 4.31%. The Access 125 is known to be a well-built scooter and has peppy performance too. It also offers great practicality, and is one of the most no-nonsense scooters you can buy in the country.

The Honda Dio range popularised the sporty scooter segment in India, especially with the 110cc model. That said, this list includes both the Honda Dio 110 and Honda Dio 125. While the YoY sales have shown a healthy increase of 15.12%, the MoM sales are down by 16.49%. It’s high time Honda updates the Dio range with more features and perhaps funkier colours if it were to garner better sales.

The TVS Ntorq 125 is one of the sportiest 125cc scooters currently on sale in India. TVS sold 26,258 units of the scooter, a 15.05% increase in MoM sales numbers. The YoY sales numbers show a negligible 2.18% decrease, but expect the sales in the following months to get better as the company launched new colour variants of the Ntorq.
