Royal Enfield has recently unveiled the Goan Classic 350 and the bike shares its platform with the Classic 350. Let’s have a look at what’s different in the Goan Classic 350 which makes it stand apart:
Design
The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 shares its design with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 in many ways. The Goan gets the same set of LED lights, front fender and the side panels. The most noticeable difference is the addition of an ape-style handlebar on the Goan. The handlebar is more upright which gives the Goan a more commanding posture. From the side, the Goan features a new exhaust. At the rear, the Goan gets a different looking fender which is attached directly to the swingarm and it gets a floating seat which elevates the appeal. The Goan Classic 350 is available in four funky colours: Purple Haze, Rave Red, Black Shack and Trip Teal while the Classic 350 comes in a total of eleven colours, which are a bit more conventional: Emerald, Stealth Black, Gun Grey, Commando Sand, Mediallon Bronze, Madras Red, Jodhpur Blue, Redditch Grey, Redditch Red Halcyon Black and Halcyon Green.
Engine and Underpinnings
Both the motorcycles share the same engine, a 349cc single-cylinder air & oil-cooled engine which makes 20PS at 6,100rpm and 27Nm at 4,000rpm, and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. They share the same double-cradle chassis, 300mm disc brake at the front and a 270mm disc brake at the rear, a telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers. The Goan’s rear suspension allows 105mm of wheel travel while the Classic only has 90mm at the rear. The Goan’s seat height has also been reduced to 750mm over the Classic’s 805mm to make it more accessible. The wheelbase has gone up by 10mm on the Goan which is now 1400mm. The Goan Classic 350 gets a 19/16-inch front and rear tubeless spoke wheels setup which the Classic continues with 19/18-inch tube spoke wheels.

The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 and the Classic 350 share the same instrument console. It’s an analogue speedometer, a small digital inset for the odometer, trip meters and fuel gauge and a tripper navigation pod which shows turn-by-turn navigation. Both the motorcycles get adjustable brake and clutch levers, and dual-channel ABS.
Price and Competitors
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 starts from Rs 1,93,080 to Rs 2,30,000 (both prices ex-showroom, Chennai). The price for the Goan Classic 350 will be announced on the 23rd of November and it will command a premium over the Classic 350. Once launched, the Goan Classic 350 will go against the likes of Jawa 42 Bobber and the Perak.

The looks of the bike is absolutely fenomenal the bike is extremely unique because no brand offers a proper bobber bike for such affordable price only few bobber bikes are available in india for ex indian bobber or triumph bonnevile bobber and this jawa 42 bobber this bike is almost amazing to ride and it brings pure joy and fun fully value for money. Extremely good. i have ridden many types of bikes from many different brands but this is absolutely beautiful to ride, the performance is absolutely good although i have few minor issues like heating issue. oh man please i have special request to jawa that please do something about heating issue, the bike heats so much it is unbelievable, also sometimes just sometimes the front brakes make wierd noises and also i have another small issue which is rear brakes. rear brakes are very weak. i will always recommend to use front brakes because rear brakes are very weak of this bike so be careful with brakes, otherwise besides these minor issues the bike is absolutely perfect to ride and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this bike, why because this is bike that is only one and only in its segment, no brand i repeat no brand makes or offer affordable proper bobber motorcycle, some brand try to replicate like royal enfield but this outclass classic 350 very easily, the price is extremely affordable for such a bike.Read More
This is office to home riding bike hardly it taken for long drive, and it never done major accidents after 4th reguler service vehicle is moving like a fluffy queen pillow, and having special lovable number plate and i never fell down or succumbed to any major accident i feel very safe even when i ride this on pothole roads.Read More
