Royal Enfield Classic 350 vs Bullet 350 Top-end Variant Images: Styling, Features, Colours And More

The Classic 350 and the Bullet 350 are two of the retro models offered by Royal Enfield. The top-end ‘Emerald Green’ Classic 350, is a slightly premium alternative to the top-spec ‘Black Gold’ Bullet 350. Here’s a detailed visual comparison of the two bikes:

Design

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 has a round headlight with the iconic chrome hood. The teardrop-shaped fuel tank has a two-tone finish with the green paint on the top and chrome on the sides. The bike has a golden pinstripe which separates the two. This pinstripe continues on the front and rear fenders as well.

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350, on the other hand, looks properly retro, with the same iconic design that has been more or less the same for 9 decades now. The bike has glossy black-coloured fenders, side body panels and the fuel tank. On the side panels and the fuel tank, the bike gets golden-coloured badging, which looks beautiful.

One interesting thing about the Classic is that the pillion seat is removable, which makes the bike even more characterful. Additionally, between the two bikes, the Classic’s single seat actually looks better finished and premium as opposed to the segmented single-piece unit of the Bullet.

Engine

The Classic 350’s engine casing gets a brushed chrome finish, and the air-cooling fins on the engine have a combination of metallic and black colours. Despite having an identical engine, the Bullet’s casing has a matte black finish, which is more in tune with its overall design.

While both the bikes have black-coloured airboxes, the Classic has an oval-shaped unit, as opposed to the rectangular one on the Bullet. Also, both the bikes come with a long peashooter exhaust, but the Classic’s chrome unit looks quite premium when compared with the Bullet’s black-coloured one.

Underpinnings

Both the Classic and the Bullet get black-coloured frames, with the same suspension setup. The telescopic forks on both these bikes get black-coloured fork covers that add a unique old-school touch, and the rear shock absorbers have a beautiful chrome finish.

Apart from this, these bikes come equipped with spoke wheels finished in chrome and roll on a 19-inch front and an 18-inch rear with tubed tyres. The disc brakes on both bikes look modern but they blend in with the design quite well.

Features

Both the bikes come equipped with a semi-digital instrument console that has a circular analogue speedometer and telltale lights. The small rectangular LCD display below the speedometer shows readouts of the odometer, trip meter, and fuel gauge. Also, the Classic comes with an LED headlamp and indicators, instead of the Halogen ones on the Bullet.

The Classic 350 gets a tripper navigation pod for turn-by-turn navigation as standard, fitted in the headlamp cowl itself. But, this pod is an accessory for the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and will cost you Rs 4,650 more. Due to this, we think the Classic is a bit more useful and convenient when compared with the Bullet.

Price Analysis

We think both of these bikes are priced quite well for what they offer. The Classic might cost you a little bit more but it also offers better styling. Both the bikes have the same performance, and differ primarily in terms of their aesthetics.  If you want a motorcycle that looks retro but comes with a hint of modernity, then the Classic 350 should serve you well. But, if you are someone who wants a true ‘Old School’ experience, the Bullet is the one you should go for.
