These special edition variants command a minor premium over the standard models
Celebrating its sales milestone, Hero has launched a new 100 Million Edition paint scheme for its scooter lineup. Prices of all three scooters -- the BS6 Hero Destini 125 and Maestro Edge 110 -- have been listed on the website as follows:
The Destini 125 and Maestro Edge carry a premium of Rs 1,800 over their respective VX and ZX variants. While the increment isn’t substantial, we’ve seen manufacturers offer a lot more than just a paint scheme for the same price hike. So, we believe Hero could have added a bit more for the asking price.
Besides these scooters, the company has also unveiled 100 Million Editions of the Hero Splendor Plus, Passion Pro, Glamour 125, and Xtreme 160R.
The brand’s portfolio also includes the BS6 XPulse 200T which was silently launched via the company website. The bike doesn’t get any extra goodies, apart from, of course, fuel injection and a larger cat-con. Head here for more details.
