Ducati Protect Service Programme Launched In India

Now Ducati Multistrada V4 and Monster range owners will get a more streamlined aftersales service experience

Quick News Highlights

  • Ducati has launched a new periodic maintenance contract programme

  • Offered in 2 packs: Ducati Protect (+) and Ducati Protect (Pro)

  • Valid for the Multistrada V4 and Monster range

Ducati India has launched a new Periodic Maintenance Contract (PMC) programme called Ducati Protect. The programme aims to offer a comprehensive maintenance coverage for Ducati customers at an affordable price, and also a seamless aftersales service experience.

The Ducati Protect package is valid for the Ducati Monster and Ducati Multistrada V4 range of motorcycles. Customers can go for a 2 year/15,000km contract as part of the Ducati Protect (+) package or for a 4 year/30,000km contract as part of the Ducati Protect (Pro) package. The contract will be valid from the bike’s warranty activation date. It is also transferable to other owners.

As part of Ducati Protect, spares and labour costs are covered, offering factory-quality servicing for customers available at authorized Ducati dealerships across India. Currently Ducati has authorized dealerships in the following cities: Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, New Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Kolkata.

Ducati claims that subscribing to the Ducati Protect programme will offer a lot of advantages. The first being, lower cost of service. Ducati will achieve this by locking in service rates at prices at the time of contract. Along with this, the resale value of the bikes will increase as there will be a clear record of service from authorised dealerships.

But the main benefit will be having peace of mind, getting the bikes serviced from authorised dealerships. One major issue big bike owners struggle with is not being able to find reliable mechanics from whom they can get their bikes serviced. With the Ducati Protect, this problem is something customers won’t have to worry about.

That said, it is important to note that Ducati Protect doesn’t cover consumables like brake pads, clutch plates and tyres. If you are a Ducati bike owner and want to subscribe to this package, then you can contact the nearest dealership to get a better idea of the particulars. The idea behind Ducati Protect is a really good one, and we hope the brand plans on extending it to cover more bikes in the near future.
