DUCATI MULTISTRADA V4 OVERVIEW
The Ducati Multistrada V4 is the brand's flagship adventure tourer, packed with tons of features and a high-performance motor. The Multistrada V4 also gets a radar-assisted adaptive cruise control. For 2026, the range has been joined by an updated Multistrada V4 Rally in India, bringing hardware upgrades aimed at making the touring-focused variant even better suited for long rides.

DUCATI MULTISTRADA V4 VARIANTS
The Multistrada V4 is available in four variants: V4, V4S, V4 Pikes Peak, and V4 Rally. The V4S uses a bit more advanced electronics like a semi-active suspension, radar assist, auto-lowering function, and also a bigger front disc brake setup. The V4 Rally, updated for 2026, is the more adventure-focused version in the line-up, aimed at riders who want to go the distance, while the Pikes Peak sits at the sportier end of the range.
DUCATI MULTISTRADA V4 COLOURS
The Ducati Multistrada V4 range is available in three colour options: Ducati Red, Thrilling Black and Arctic White. The Multistrada V4 Rally is offered separately in Ducati Red and Jade Green.
DUCATI MULTISTRADA V4 DESIGN
The Multistrada V4 and V4S share a sharper front end with a full-LED headlight and cornering lights. Both run 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. The Pikes Peak wears a full racing livery pulled from Ducati's MotoGP and Superbike programmes, with Marchesini forged wheels and a single-sided swingarm. The 2026 Rally stands apart in Ducati Red and Jade Green, with wire-spoke wheels for a tougher, off-road-ready look. The repositioned swingarm, bigger 280mm rear disc, and redesigned centre stand all add to that rugged, built-for-distance character.
DUCATI MULTISTRADA V4 ENGINE
The Ducati Multistrada V4 is powered by a 1158cc V4 Granturismo engine that produces 231PS and 124Nm across the V4, V4S, and Pikes Peak variants. The engine is liquid-cooled and comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. It's quite a potent motor that can make long-distance touring a breeze. Its cylinder deactivation tech shuts down two cylinders to reduce consumption as well as the heat. This is quite helpful in stop-go traffic. The V4 Rally uses the same 231PS engine, though its torque output is rated slightly differently at 123.8Nm.
DUCATI MULTISTRADA V4 FEATURES
The Multistrada V4 gets a 6.5-inch TFT instrument console with navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and radar-based adaptive cruise control. There's a phone storage pocket with charging support, along with Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Vehicle Hold Control, and Cornering ABS. For 2026, the Multistrada V4 Rally's onboard electronics have also been updated to use inputs from more sensors, mainly to sharpen the rider aids.
DUCATI MULTISTRADA V4 CHASSIS, BRAKES, WHEELS, SUSPENSION
The Ducati Multistrada V4 uses an aluminium monocoque chassis, with the V4, V4S and V4 Rally getting a double-sided swingarm. The Pikes Peak is the only one to have a single-sided swingarm.
The V4 and V4S run a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, with spoke wheels offered as an option. Braking is handled by front and rear Brembo callipers with cornering ABS. It has a 22-litre fuel tank, adjustable seat height (840-860mm), 220mm ground clearance, and weighs between 227kg and 240kg wet without fuel, depending on the variant. The Pikes Peak variant, on the other hand, is much lighter at 227kg (kerb, but without fuel). It has the same seat height range and fuel tank capacity as the V4 and V4S.
For 2026, the Multistrada V4 Rally gets an updated Marzocchi suspension that adjusts damping in real time based on road and riding conditions. The swingarm has been repositioned, and the rear brake disc has grown to 280mm. It also gets a redesigned centre stand for easier lifting and a lowering device to help with manoeuvring at lower speeds. The Rally gets a massive 30-litre fuel tank, a taller (but adjustable) seat height of 870-890mm, and a 240kg wet weight without fuel.
DUCATI MULTISTRADA V4 COMPETITION
The Ducati Multistrada V4 range competes with the BMW R 1300 GS, the KTM 1290 Super Adventure and Triumph Tiger 1200, and the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250. That said, there are no natural rivals to the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak as it is an adventure bike that’s designed to handle like a sportbike.
