The Multistrada V4 is available in two variants: V4, and V4S. The V4S uses a bit more advance electronics like a semi active suspension, radar assist, auto-lowering function and also a bigger front disc brake setup.

Ducati Multistrada V4 Design
The Ducati Multistrada V4 comes with a proper ADV styling like other bikes in the Multistrada lineup. It now features sharper lines and a more muscular stance, and gets a redesigned fairing, updated LED headlights, and a sleek tail section.
Ducati Multistrada V4 Engine
The Ducati Multistrada V4 is powered by a 1158cc V4 Granturismo engine that produces 170PS and 124.5Nm. The engine is liquid-cooled and comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. It’s quite a potent motor that can make long distance touring a breeze. Its cylinder deactivation tech shuts down two cylinders to reduce consumption as well as the heat. This is quite helpful in stop-go traffic.
Ducati Multistrada V4 Features
The Ducati Multistrada V4 comes packed with a lot of features. It gets an LED headlight with cornering function, a 6.5-inch TFT instrument console with navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and radar-based adaptive cruise control. There's a phone storage pocket with charging support, and the bike includes an advanced electronic suite featuring Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Vehicle Hold Control, and Cornering ABS.
Ducati Multistrada V4 Chassis, Brakes, Wheels, Suspension
The Ducati Multistrada V4 uses an aluminium monocoque chassis with a double-sided swingarm. The V4 and V4S uses 17-inch wheels at both ends and there is also an option of spoke wheels. There are front and rear Brembo callipers with cornering ABS, which are quite fantastic It has a 22-litre fuel tank, adjustable seat height (840-860mm), 220mm ground clearance, and weighs from 225kg to 238kg kerb (depending on the variant). The fuel tank gives it a decent range between fuel stops, adding to the ease of touring.
Ducati Multistrada V4 Competition
The Ducati Multistrada V4 range competes with the BMW R 1300 GS, the KTM 1290 Super Adventure and the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250. The RS variant takes on high-performance sport-tourers like the BMW S 1000 XR. Another low priced alternative one can consider is the Triumph Tiger 1200.
