With the advance booking of demo rides, Ducati Demo Road Show will provide the experience of riding a Ducati in various cities.

Ducati India is going to kick start the first phase of the Demo Road Show weekends from the next month i.e. October 2016. The first show has been scheduled to take place at Mangalore on the weekend of 8-9 October, followed by Gurgaon, Coimbatore and Goa, dates for which will be announced shortly. With the Ducati Demo Road Shows, motorcyclists will be able to book demo rides in advance to experience the Authentic Italian Performance of Ducati motorcycles in their own cities. Apart from that, it will also provide them with an opportunity of being able to buy official Ducati merchandise and apparel at the mini-showroom.

Announcing the launch of Ducati Demo Road Show, Ravi Avalur, managing director, Ducati India Pvt Ltd, said, "We are seeing increased demand from smaller cities and wanted to make our motorcycles even more accessible to enthusiasts who want to experience the exhilaration of riding a Ducati."

After a failed tie-up with some Indian dealerships, Ducati re-started its operations independently in the country in June 2015. The company introduced its exotic Italian superbikes in the country, with very competitive pricing, which are on sale at its exclusive dealerships across the country. The company is doing well in the market now and is eyeing a bigger share of the premium bike market of the country. For that, the Italian manufacturer is introducing various schemes for the customers, including finance offers, roadside assistance, Demo Owners Club and now, the Demo Road Show. The company is also planning to bring a Riding School here, which is a part of the Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) programme that began internationally in 2003.

The company is also taking aggressive steps with its expansion strategy and is planning to set up its dealership in almost every major city in India. All these outlets will offer world-class sales and after-sales services along with spare parts support like the existing dealerships. Moreover, the fact that the Gurugram dealership is its largest setup in Asia, proves that India is one of the most important markets for the company. Besides all these customer friendly initiatives of the company, the Ducati Demo Road Show is a one-of-its-kind move from a superbike manufacturer in the country, which will help the customer to better understand the motorcycle that he is going to buy. And it also shows that how confident the manufacturer is for the performance of its machines on offer in the country.
