Weight loss, displacement reduction, but more power

2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 Launched in India: Lighter and Better Than Before

    Quick Highlights:

    • It now gets the same engine as the recently-launched Ducati Monster

    • Comes with an all new chassis

    • Available in two variants: V2 and V2 S

Ducati has launched the new 2025 Multistrada V2 in India at Rs 18,88,000 (ex-showroom). The brand says that this model gets a completely redesigned frame, and a new 890cc V-twin motor. Here is everything you need to know about this new Italian beauty in town:

    Design

    2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 Launched

The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 comes with a fresh new look inspired by the bigger Multistrada V4. The fairing is well designed, sharp and gives this adventure tourer an aggressive and sporty stance. Ducati has also given this Multi a new tail section which looks clean with a neatly integrated grab-handle, along with this it also gets a tall windscreen along with a subtle looking front beak, which completes the overall looks.

The Multistrada V2 is available in classic Ducati Red paint scheme, while the top-end V2 S also gets the rugged-looking Storm Green colour option. We personally prefer the Ducati Red paint scheme as it gives this adventure tourer a sporty vibe.

    Engine

    2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 Launched

Ducati has given the 2025 Multistrada V2 an all new 890cc V-twin motor that makes 115PS 10,750rpm and 92.1Nm 8,250rpm (4PS more, 0.9Nm less). This new engine weighs 54.4kg, which makes it an impressive 9kg lighter than the brand’s previous engine. Another highlight of this engine is that it now has a valve clearance check interval of 45,000km. The brand has also launched the 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 with the same engine, but with a slightly higher power output.

    Underpinnings

    2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 Launched

The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 comes with an all new aluminium frame. It gets a 45mm inverted fork and a monoshock, both with adjustable compression and rebound. The suspension gives the bike 170mm of wheel travel at both ends. Along with this, the bike runs on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear alloy wheel setup with a 120-section front and a 170-section rear Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2 tyres.

There are twin 320mm discs at the front and a 265mm disc at the rear. Multistrada V2 comes with an adjustable seat height of 830mm to 850mm, which should make it a bit more comfortable for riders of different heights. It gets a big 19-litre fuel tank and at 202kg (kerb), the bike is quite light.

    Features

    2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 Launched

The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 comes packed with features including all-LED lighting, a 5-inch TFT console, and five riding modes – Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro, and Wet. It comes equipped with cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, and cruise control.

The V2 S variant has semi-active suspension that can electronically lower the bike to reduce the seat height. It also has a bidirectional quickshifter and Ducati Brake Light EVO for emergency braking alerts. Other highlights include keyless ignition, a USB charging port, adjustable seat height, and improved aerodynamics and comfort for long-distance touring.
