Suzuki India has introduced some striking new colour options for the Gixxer SF 250 and the Gixxer 250, adding a touch of visual flair to these capable and fun to ride 250cc bikes. At Rs 1,89,768 for the Gixxer SF 250 and Rs 1,81,517 for Gixxer 250 (both ex-showroom, Delhi), the price remains unchanged.

The fully faired Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is now available in two new shades: Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Glacier White/Metallic Mat Platinum Silver. Amongst these new colour options, we personally prefer the new all white shade of the SF 250. These fresh colourways are aimed at enhancing the sportbike’s sharp and aggressive design, while retaining its familiar styling cues such as the full fairing, clip-on handlebars, and aerodynamic stance.

Meanwhile, the naked Suzuki Gixxer 250 has received three new colour options: Pearl Glacier White/Metallic Mat Platinum Silver, Metallic Triton Blue/Glass Sparkle Black, and Glass Sparkle Black. We prefer the white shade for the Gixxer 250 as well. These new paint schemes complement the bike’s muscular streetfighter look, highlighted by its sculpted fuel tank, and minimalistic bodywork. With these additions, Suzuki is clearly targeting riders who want a balance of performance and everyday usability, along with more personalised styling.
Mechanically, both motorcycles remain unchanged. They continue to be powered by the same 249cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers a strong mix of performance and refinement. The motor makes 26.5PS, 22.2Nm, and comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The chassis, suspension setup, braking hardware, and feature list also remain the same.
BikeDekho Says
While the new colours make the bikes look fresh, this update isn’t quite sufficient for the Gixxers. Sales are quite low for these models and we were expecting Suzuki to give them a whole bunch of updates apart from just new colours. To give you a gist, a redesign, updated, plusher suspension, better brakes, and improved highlights (to name a few) would have revived interest in the bikes. The bikes have remained almost the same before the Covid era, and that’s a strong reason why their sales numbers are so weak. Suzuki had a great opportunity to turn a new leaf in the bikes’ lifecycle, but it seems like there are other plans for the models.

It is a nice bikeIt is a nice bike I own it since 1 year iit is a best bike purchase choice I have ever seen. It also has much comfort also it's milage is better. While riding the bike you may feel some vibrations on the seat but almost all of you will feel through that vibrations that I am riding a powerful bike. Gixxer 250It is one of the smoothest engines that doesn't heat too often. Still feel indicators should be LED by now. Fit and finish are international standard. Throttle has a lot of give and play, which for a 250cc quarter litre engine is very good as it can be taken out for touring as well as for everyday city commutes. Riding dynamics triangle is perfect for even short riders. Surprising and satisfactory for a big engineRead More
