Triumph has revealed new colour options for the 2027 Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X. While there are no mechanical changes, both motorcycles get fresh paint schemes that give them a more premium and distinctive look. The new colours will be available globally from August 2026, while their India launch will depend on Triumph India’s plans.

Triumph Speed 400 Gets A Sportier Look
The Triumph Speed 400 now gets a new premium dual-tone paint scheme featuring Racing Red and Pewter Grey, separated by a diagonal Phantom Black stripe across the fuel tank. The combination gives the roadster a sharper and more energetic appearance without changing its clean, modern design. Triumph has also retained the large triangular tank badge, adding to its premium feel.
The new colour helps keep the Speed 400 looking fresh while staying true to its approachable roadster character. Triumph will continue offering the Pearl Metallic White and Phantom Black premium paint scheme, along with the standard Phantom Black and Storm Grey finish. However, the final list of colours available in India will depend on Triumph India’s lineup.
A More Rugged Looking Shade For Scrambler 400X
The Triumph Scrambler 400 X also gets a new paint finish for the 2027 model year. It features a Matt Khaki Green stripe over a Matt Pewter Grey fuel tank, while the mudguards and body panels are finished in Phantom Black. The new combination suits the motorcycle’s rugged styling and gives it an even more adventure-ready look.
With its taller stance, wide handlebar, high mudguard and scrambler-inspired bodywork, the new paint scheme blends well with the bike’s off-road character. Triumph will also offer colour-matched high mudguards as an optional accessory, allowing buyers to give the motorcycle an even more purposeful appearance. Like the Speed 400, the new Scrambler 400 X colour will reach global dealerships from August 2026.
Other than this, Triumph has given new shades to its bigger bikes as well. The Triumph Tiger 800 gets an all-new Sapphire Black paint scheme with racing yellow graphics. While the sportier Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS gets a new Jet Black and Mui Blue shade.

Fell in love with this after the test drive and decided I have to get this one. Feels a bit expensive, but you will forget the price tag once you own it. It's been amazing, especially on the highways. It's like a rocket on the right roads. The bike handles well in the city. It gets a bit too hot for long rides, but overall no issues. Gives a mileage of 32-33 kmpl on highways and around 20-25kmpl in the city. Would absolutely recommend this bike. If you love riding regularly and want a bike that's good for daily commuting and for long rides, I highly recommend this bike. People who are generally 5 feet 8 inches and above would be more comfortable, although I have noticed people who are much shorter handle it quite well.Read More
