This has been a busy year with lots of launches, unveiled and concepts being showcased but what are our favourite two-wheelers of 2024? Let’s have a look!

Ather 450 Apex

Price: Rs 1,94,998 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru)

The Ather 450 Apex is the most premium offering from the manufacturer and is a fun scooter to say the least. It is powered by a 3.7kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor which produces a peak power of 7kW and 26Nm which allows the scooter to complete the 0-40kmph sprint in just 2.9 seconds making the scooter a hoot to ride in the city. It is equally good on the highways as well, with a claimed top-speed of 100kmph, the scooter holds itself well. The plethora of features, transparent body panels which allows you to see the chassis, the funky colour scheme and the Wrap+ mode which is exclusive to the 450 Apex makes the scooter stand out. Sure, the scooter is expensive but at this price point, you get a limited edition scooter which is sure to grab attention wherever you go. 

Bajaj Freedom 125

Price: From Rs 89,997 to Rs 1,09,997 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi)

The Bajaj Freedom 125 is the world’s first motorcycle which can completely operate on CNG. The motorcycle offers the customer a unique ability, it gives you the operating cost of an EV along with the convenience of filling fuel of an ICE motorcycle. The 2-litre fuel tank is paired with a 2kg CNG cylinder which allows the motorcycle to have a real-world range of 180km. It is a unique bike for sure but is limited to the CNG infrastructure which may or may not be available in your city. 

TVS Jupiter 110

Price: From Rs 74,691 to Rs 87,791 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi)

The TVS Jupiter 110, now in its second generation, is a great family-oriented scooter. The Jupiter now comes with a new-generation 113.3cc hybrid engine that makes 9.2Nm at  5,000rpm without hybrid assist & 9.8Nm at 5,000rpm with hybrid-assist. The scooter is now more practical than before, has better ride quality, offers better features and even though it is a family oriented scooter, is fun to ride!  The hybrid assist does come in handy when you want to do a quick overtake in the city making the scooter peppier. 

Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350

Price: From Rs 2,35,000 to Rs 2,38,000 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi)

Royal Enfield nailed the Goan Classic 350, a bobber based upon the Classic 350. Even though they share the same chassis and underpinnings, the Goan is a lot different when it comes to the way it rides. It offers a laid-back experience which is unmatched by any other motorcycle in its segment. The addition of white-walled tyres, cross-spoked tubeless aluminium wheels and the funky colour scheme makes the Goan Classic 350 a complete package. 

2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4S

Price: Rs 28,00,000 (price ex-showroom, Delhi)

The Ducati Streetfighter V4S is a machine which is out of this world. The performance and feel it offers is unmatched by any other motorcycle out there. It is essentially a stripped down Panigale V4, so it does handle and behave like one. It is powered by a 1103cc liquid-cooled 90-degree V4 engine producing 208PS and 123Nm paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter. The motorcycle has a crazy power-to-weight ratio and reaches triple digit speeds as fast as you can say the bike’s name. But as crazy as it sounds, the Streetfighter V4S is a very well-mannered motorcycle and can be easily driven in the city without facing any major heating issues. Ducati left no stone unturned when it came to electronics and has given it all the bells and whistles you can think of.
