Ather Rizta: More Details Of Upcoming Ather Family Electric Scooter Revealed By CEO And Co-founder

Apart from some juicy details, you can also check out this novel ad featuring former WWE superstar The Great Khali

(Update: Ather Energy has launched the all-new Ather Rizta family scooter. Check out the details in our launch story here.)

Ather Energy’s CEO Tarun Mehta has shared the details of the upcoming Ather Rizta family scooter on social media, ahead of the Ather Community Day 2024, scheduled to take place on April 6.

Along with the unveiling of the upcoming electric scooter on that day, Tarun also mentioned that other than the massive seat, it will also come with big storage space (could certainly be bigger than the Ather 450X’ 22 litre underseat storage); and also a USB charging port. Ather is also planning on launching a smart accessory, which will be first for the brand. While we aren’t sure as to what exactly it is, co-founder Swapnil Jain mentioned, “You may stand a chance to win it for yourself”. A smart connected helmet (perhaps with bluetooth and speakers) would make a lot of sense in enhancing the practicality, but we’ll just have to wait and see what it is.

Along with this, Ather will also be releasing an OTA update dubbed ‘Ather Stack 6’. The update will be bringing new functionalities to the scooters such as messaging on the dashboard, among others. A new Ather mobile app is also going to be launched.

Ather also dropped a teaser ad featuring former WWE heavyweight champion and hall of famer, The Great Khali. In the teaser we can see the Great Khali doing … well Khali stuff, the main focus of the teaser was of course the Rizta’s large seat. The same had been teased earlier in a rather unconventional way by the manufacturer via massive billboards in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The photos of both were featured in the teaser too.

The manufacturer is also planning on showcasing the limited edition Ather 450 Apex, which is their most powerful e-scooter. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the e-scooter and also a chance to win one as well.

The Ather Rizta is likely to be launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom including FAME 2 subsidy). It will rival other electric scooters currently in the market such as the TVS iQube, Hero Vida V1 Pro and Bajaj Chetak.

Ather's upcoming future scooter makes scooters kee

My friend has bought this scooter and I have also ridden it. It has very good ride quality and gives very good range. Even 2 people can sit comfortably. It gives good range. The seat is also very comfortable. I would recommend everyone to buy it because it is the best. It is the best in mileage. It drives on the road and highway as if you are sitting in a car. The suspension is very good. Even on rough roads, there is no problem as its suspension is very firm and soft, so there are no jolts at all. I like it. Actually, this scooter is good for everyone from small children to adults. It does not cause any jolts at all and runs very smoothly. Whom not to buy is not a word in my dictionary because this scooter is made for everyone. I will recommend it to everyone.Read More

Perfect scooty for style and comfort

I was about to purchase Cng bike because of daily use and mileage but when I saw and ad about rizta. I was excited and then I calculated that I can ride 126 Km for just 30 Rs charging that was the moment I changed my mind for ather. Still while buying I was so confused that did I do the write thing as we normal people do. But when started riding the experience which I felt can't express in words this was the first time. I was using a ev. So much silent, And the pickup was superb, Also it has comfort but IDC range which was given that came down slowly now it has been more than 2 years I get 90 Km range. Rest is good. If ather improves battery again this will be the best in the market. Because there is no one who can be on the top in market if thing improve. What I like is stylish in look. Super affordable in terms of money which means I can ride 100Km in just charging of 30 Rupees. Comfortable for both rider and the person sitting behind. Also pickup is superb.Read More

Easy to Handle in Traffic

I was searching for a useful family scooter that would be comfortable to ride and have a decent mileage because of it dependability. The Ather 450X was frequently mentioned in discussion with my friends. It was the best option for me. The best thing is how easy it is to ride. My younger brother also rides it and finds it easy. It starts fast no delay. I charge it overnight and it is ready next morning. Once I forgot to charge but eco mode helped save battery. Yes I fully recommend it. Perfect for local travel, smooth roads and daily use. It is quiet, light and does not pollute. And it saves a lot of money. No petrol, no oil change. Just clean and ride. I feel smart using it.Read More

Worth the Price and Experience

I chose Ather Riztabecause my old petrol scooter was getting costly. Every month I spent lot on fuel. I wanted something smart and simple. When I saw Ather Rizta I liked the look and comfort. So I booked it without much thinking. The ride is soft and quiet. One time I forgot it was even on because there is no engine sound. It is perfect for my short trips. I charge it at night and it lasts for 2–3 days. No heat, no noise, no tension. Very smooth on speed breakers too. Yes go for it. If you care about the environment and want to save fuel cost this scooter is best. It looks modern and feels just like the old scooter but electric. I love riding it daily and feel proud I made the switch.Read More
