Design

The latest spy shots of the scooter have revealed that it will have a clean, slightly boxy design with curved edges. We know that the scooter is going to have a metal body which should add more sturdiness. It is not expected to get any quirky graphics but just some subtle colour options.

Motor and Performance

Konarc is going to have a swingarm-mounted motor but might be tuned differently for a smoother power delivery. As per our sources, the scooter can have multiple battery pack options ranging from 100 km, 125 km, 160 km, and 200 km of IDC range.

The scooter might also feature a more convenient onboard charger and an optional fast charger, which will be able to charge the scooter from 0 to 80% in around two hours.

Underpinnings

As seen in the spyshots, we can tell that the scooter is going to get a 14-inch front and a 12-inch rear wheel, which will feature a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. It is going to get traditional telescopic suspension and a rear monoshock.

Features

For features, the Konarc is expected to have a TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call & SMS alerts, all running on the AtherStack 7 operating system. It might also get a walk assist feature for more convenience.

Price and Rivals

The Ather Konarc is expected to be priced at around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a strong contender in the affordable family e-scooter segment. Once launched, it will rival the TVS iQube, Vida VX2, and Bajaj Chetak C2501.
