All-New Bajaj Pulsar 125 VS TVS Raider 125: Price Comparison

Bajaj recently launched the all-new Pulsar 125 in India. This was not a normal facelift, but a proper generational update. The bike got an updated design, an all new engine, frame, suspension setup and features list. Now the Pulsar 125 is absolutely loaded with features, and it is a much stronger competitor for the TVS Raider 125. Here is how both of these sporty 125cc bikes compete against each other in a price comparison: 

Pricing

The TVS Raider 125 is available in a total of 7 variants with pricing starting from Rs 83,910, which is Rs 9,080 more affordable than the base variant of the Pulsar 125. On the other hand, the top-spec variants of both of these 125 cc bikes cost over Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom), the Raider 125 still being Rs 288 more expensive than the Pulsar 125. 

All-New Bajaj Pulsar 125

The new Bajaj Pulsar 125 offers a much more well-rounded package now, with its all-new engine, chassis, and features list. The bike uses an all-new air-cooled engine that makes 12.1 PS, 11.4 Nm and comes paired to a 5-speed gearbox. There are three ride modes: Road, Rain, and Sport. It also gets an all-new single-craddle frame due to which the Pulsar 125 now comes equipped with a more modern rear monoshock. It runs on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, with an 80-section front and a 100-section rear tyre.

For 2026, Bajaj has loaded the Pulsar 125 to the brim in terms of features. The base variants get a colour LCD console, while the top-spec variants come equipped with a 5-inch TFT console. Both of these displays feature smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alerts, while the TFT console also offers Google Maps mirroring, music controls and a document saving feature.

 

The variants of the Pulsar 125 differ in terms of the seat configuration, single piece or a split seat setup, and the consoles: LCD or TFT.

TVS Raider 125

The TVS Raider 125 has always been praised for being a fun, sporty looking and feature loaded 125cc commuter bike. It comes equipped with a 124.8cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine making 11.4 PS, 11.75 Nm, and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. On-paper the Raider 125 makes 0.7 PS less than the Pulsar 125, however the torque figure is slightly more. There are also three ride modes: Eco, Power and Boost. The Raider 125 also gets a slight performance boost from the iGo assist feature.

 
The bike uses a steel-tube frame, conventional telescopic fork, and a rear monoshock. It runs on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, with a wider 90-section front and 110-section rear tyre on higher variants. Also, unlike the Pulsar 125, the Raider 125 does get a single channel ABS and a rear disc brake setup for added safety. The Raider 125 also comes loaded with features, there is a coloured LCD console on the lower variants, while the top-spec variants get a TFT console. Both displays feature smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and SMS/call alerts. The Raider 125 also features voice commands, engine stop/start and a silent starter. However it misses out on Google maps mirroring.

 

The TVS Raider 125 lineup is quite versatile and the pricing is very well sorted, in such a way that there is a Raider available for every budget.

Both of these 125cc commuters offer great value for money, and both come loaded with features right from the entry-level variants. That said, the Pulsar 125 is still the most feature loaded bike here, and it is also the most powerful. In the end, it depends on the individual, and the budget.
