Aamir Khan Now Owns A Customized Bajaj V!

Aamir Khan becomes the proud owner of a customized Bajaj V, which gets a personalized paint scheme with the initial "a" on the fuel tank and an embossing of “Chotelal” on the rear seat cowl.

One of India's most admired actors and a successful director, Aamir Khan now owns a new Bajaj V. For the uninitiated the bike is the latest 150cc motorcycle from Bajaj and uses metal from India’s first aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant.

Aamir is known for his passion towards social and national causes. When he get to know that parts of the Bajaj V are made of metal taken from the dismantled hero of the 1971 India--Pakistan war, INS Vikrant, he decided to buy one

When Mr Rajiv Bajaj, managing director of Bajaj Auto and a friend of Aamir, learnt that the star had placed an order for a V15, he contacted Aamir and decided to get his bike customized. So, the Bajaj V that was personalized for Aamir got a customized paint scheme with the initial "a" on the fuel tank and a graphic design of “Chotelal” inscribed on the rear seat cowl. Mr Bajaj met Aamir at his residence in Mumbai and personally handed over his customized V15.

Aamir was delighted to receive his new bike and commented, “The V is a special bike and I wouldn’t compare it with anything else. It has a piece of history ingrained into it. For me it’s a proud moment to own a piece of metal from INS Vikrant which was the military pride of India for decades.”

The launch of V was announced by Bajaj in February this year, while the deliveries of the bike started on March 23 (Martyrs' Day) with 10,000 customers driving away with it on the first day of availability.
