2025 Keeway K-Light 250V: Same Price Other Options
From a feature packed supersport to the most powerful 400cc-single cylinder bike, here are other options you can consider

The Keeway K-Light 250V had recently got a massive Rs 71,000 price cut, and now starts at a price of Rs 2,49,000 (ex-showroom). Even though it’s a 250cc V-twin cruiser, it’s only as powerful as the Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise, which is less than half its price. Worse, the top Matte Black and Matte Blue colour is Rs 2.69 lakh, which doesn't even make a lot of sense as there's nothing special about the colour for it to be a whole Rs 20,000 over the base one. If you’re not convinced about this cruiser, particularly the top variant, you’d be glad to know there are several juicy, much more powerful, feature-packed, gorgeous looking alternatives for around the same price point:
KTM Duke 390
There’s nothing that says value-for-money more than the KTM 390 Duke. At a price of Rs 2,96,670 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the bike is like the most addictive, affordable street food you’ve ever had. There are two things that the Duke does very well: first is the performance and second is the features.

When it comes to performance, the KTM 390 Duke is the most powerful 400cc single-cylinder motorcycle in the market. The bike features a 398.63cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 46PS and 39Nm. And as far as the features are concerned, it gets adjustable suspension which allows riders to change the compression and rebound settings by just turning two switches at the fork ends.
It also has a ton of electronic riding aids on offer, including cornering traction control, cruise control, switchable ABS and more. So if you’re looking for the best bang for buck performance-packed streetfighter for both everyday use and weekend rides, then there’s no better deal than the Duke.
TVS Apache RR 310
The thrill of carving cornerings is something many riders enjoy more than anything, and for this there’s no bike which comes close to the TVS Apache RR 310. Starting at a price of Rs 2,77,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Apache RR 310 is an affordable bike that lets you unlock the potential of your riding skill around a track.

The bike also looks like a proper track weapon, and the aerodynamic winglets add an extra layer of aggression. The bike is powered by a 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 38PS and 29Nm. It also gets a ton of features on offer, including a cruiser control system, traction control, cornering ABS, riding modes, launch control, among others. If you’re someone who is looking for a feature packed faired bike that feels at home at the track, yet usable enough for commutes as well as highway rides, then the Apache RR 310 is the bike for you.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450
Long distance touring in comfort, and a bit of fun when the roads end – that is what the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is all about. It is Royal Enfield’s most premium adventure bike, and also the first from the brand to feature a liquid-cooled engine.

The bike is powered by a new 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder ‘Sherpa’ engine which outputs 40PS and 40Nm. The Sherpa engine has enough power to handle highway touring at speeds of over 100kmph without feeling stressed. The large 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheel setup, combined with the well-tuned suspension, makes the Himalayan a potent off-roader as well.
If you’re someone who is looking for an ADV that can double up as a one-bike-garage, then the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is a bike worth considering. It starts at a price of Rs 2,85,000 (ex-showroom Chennai), for the base Kaza Brown color scheme.
Harley-Davidson X440
Other than ADVs another good bike genre which can handle your highway touring needs, are roadsters. In this price range, the mid-spec variant of the Harley-Davidson X440 is a good option, the bike comes at a price of Rs 2,59,500 (ex-showroom). The X440 offers good performance, with a punchy bottom-end thanks to its long stroke engine.

It is powered by a 440cc, air and oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 27PS and 38Nm. Most of the power and torque is produced at the lower rev-range which makes the bike feel a lot engaging, giving that typical torquey cruiser feel which Harleys are known for. The bike can easily sit at speeds of 100kmph on the highway effortlessly. If you’re someone who wants to experience Harley-Davidson’s motorcycling lifestyle on a budget, then its most affordable bike, the X440 is worth considering.
Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet
Out of all the bikes listed here so far, all have been petrol-powered bikes. Now we also have an electric bike that you can consider, and it is the Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet. The Superstreet is a streetfighter based on the Ultraviolette F77 platform.

The bike gets wider handlebar (as opposed to the clip-ons on the F77 Mach 2) which has made it easier for the riders to have a taller and more relaxed sitting posture. This makes the bike a lot more appealing to riders who are not comfortable with the sporty and committed riding posture of the F77 Mach 2. The bike also offers the same levels of performance as the F77 Mach 2, with a 30kW motor offering a claimed top speed of 155kmph, and a 7.1kWh battery pack which offers a claimed range of 211km. The bike comes at a price of Rs 2,99,000 (ex-showroom).
