TVS Motors have launched 2016 Victor in Maharashtra at Rs. 49,188 (ex-showroom, Pune) for the base model and the disc brake variant has been priced at Rs. 51,188 (ex-showroom, Pune). The bike gets a host of cosmetic and technical updates to compete with the premium 110cc motorcycles like the Honda Livo, the Hero Passion XPro and the upcoming Hero Splendor iSmart 110. The bike features an all-new 3-valve engine and will be placed ahead of the Star City Plus. The bike was first launched in India on January 20th along with the Apache RTR 200 4V.

Powering the motorcycle is a 109cc single cylinder, 4-stroke, 3-valve engine, which is mated to a 4-speed constant mesh transmission. This smooth powertrain is tuned to produce 9bhp of power and 9.4Nm of torque. The bike claims to return the ARAI tested mileage of 76kmpl. Built around a single cradle tubular frame, the motorcycle gets telescopic oil dampened suspension up front and a 5-step hydraulic series suspension at the rear for hustle free city rides. It has not just got the power but also wins over its competitors in terms of drivability and comfort.

The first-gen TVS Victor was launched in 2002 and offered everything that a commuter needed. The company has now introduced an upgrade with many new features including 3-valve ecothrust engine, petal disc brake, tubeless tyres and impressive styling tweaks. We took it for a small ride and you can read our first ride review to know how it fared.
