QJ Motors, Benelli's sister brand has officially unveiled the SRG 600 in its home country. The bike is expected to be rebranded as the Benelli 600RR for exports. It's a fully-faired sports bike with clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs. Sources suggest that Benelli will launch the BS6 600RR in India by mid-2021. The brand could even introduce other larger capacity motorcycles like the TRK 800 and Leoncino 800 in the latter half of 2021. Details here.

The Benelli 600RR is likely to be offered in two variants. It'll be powered by the same 600cc inline four-cylinder engine as the 2020 TNT 600. In its current state of tune, the bike puts out 81PS at 11,000rpm and 55Nm of peak torque at 8000rpm. The motor works alongside a 6-speed transmission with a quickshifter, however, it works for upshifts. 

The two Benelli 600RR variants may come with a silver upside-down fork and J Juan calipers, or golden KYB upside-down fork and Brembo calipers. Both bikes use a trellis frame for rigidity. 

Its feature list includes LED lighting all around, keyless ignition and a 5-inch colour TFT console with an adaptable display. To add to this, the handlebar switchgear is also backlit.

Expect Benelli to launch the 600RR in India sometime around mid-2021 with an expected price tag of 6.5 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete against the BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 650.
