Royal Enfield Classic 350 Flex Fuel Expert Overview
Overview
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Flex Fuel version was unveiled at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Global Expo (also known as Auto Expo 2024). This was the E85 compliant version, meaning it can run on 85% ethanol and 15% petrol. The bike was then spotted testing in April 2026. Interestingly, while the unveiled bike came with spoke wheels, the test mule was seen rolling on alloys. The bike also had a brown coloured fuel tank, along with the rest of the bodywork in black.
Apart from the flex-fuel compliance, expect the rest of the mechanicals to remain the same as the regular Royal Enfield Classic 350, as is evident from the spy shots as well. The sighting comes just when India's Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) proposed making changes to the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, pushing for E85 and even E100 in the future. While this hasn’t been enforced yet, it seems Royal Enfield wants to stay ahead of the curve, and that explains why the bike has been spotted testing.
Expect the bike to cost around Rs 10,000 more than the current alloy wheel-equipped version, which currently retails at around Rs 2.16 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). Royal Enfield is likely to launch the bike only after the fuel regulations are formally amended and enforced.
Once launched, it will be the only other E85 compliant bike in India after the Suzuki Gixxer SF250 Flex Fuel, considering the Honda CB300F Flex Fuel variant has been discontinued.
