Yezdi Roadster And Scrambler Update Launch Soon?

These spy shots suggest that they could arrive by the end of this year

A new video has surfaced online showing three upcoming Yezdi motorcycles undergoing road testing, offering the clearest look yet at what could be the brand’s next launches. Two of the bikes seen in the video appear to be the 2025 Yezdi Roadster but in two different versions. And, the third bike trailing behind seems to be an updated version of the Yezdi Scrambler.

Yezdi Roadster

Of the two Yezdi Roadsters seen, one of them has a single-seat setup, while the other comes with a dual-seat configuration. Both variants get a completely redesigned rear as compared to the existing bike. The indicators on the two bikes are mounted on the chopped rear fender whereas the tail light is located on the tyre hugger. Other than this, both versions carry the same retro inspired design language as the current bike with a teardrop shaped fuel tank, and a relaxed cruiser-like riding posture. Also similar to the existing motorcycle are underpinnings like the telescopic fork, twin rear shocks, and dual exhausts.

Yezdi Scrambler

The third motorcycle in the video appears to be an updated version of the Yezdi Scrambler. One of the changes seen here is the switch to alloy wheels, replacing the current model’s spoke wheels with tubed tyres. As a consequence, the 2025 model will get tubeless tyres which should make life a lot easier in case of a puncture when compared to tubed ones. The side panels appear to be different as this one’s shaped like a sleek race number plate.

Instead of a tyre hugger (with licence plate holder) and a high-set rear fender in the current model, the 2025 version gets a longer rear fender with integrated number plate holder. The tail light and indicators are mounted on the mud guard too. Interestingly, the 2025 version also gets a short, stubby exhaust instead of the dual upswept ones on the current bike.

Engine

Both of these bikes use a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine that is shared with the other Yezdi and Jawa bikes. Both of these motorcycles get different states of tune for the motor, suiting their individual character and intended use case. The Roadster makes 29PS and 29.4Nm, while the Scrambler makes 29.77PS and 28.21Nm.

Rivals

The 2025 Yezdi Roadster will go up against the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB350, and Hero Mavrick 440. Whereas the 2025 Yezdi Scrambler will rival the Royal Enfield Scram 440, and also be a more affordable alternative to the Triumph Scrambler 400 X in the 300-400cc scrambler segment.

These sightings suggest that the launch could be near as the bikes seen look fairly close to being production ready. We wouldn’t be surprised if these Yezdi bikes launch by the end of the year, possibly in the festive season. We also hope that with this update, the vibrations and clunkiness of the powertrain are sorted - just like how Classic Legends did with other bikes like the Jawa 350.
