Chennai based two-wheeler marker, TVS Motor is targeting to increase the sales of its newly launched first metal bodied scooter, TVS Wego, in every month across the country. The company aims to sell nearly 15,000 units of its new TVS Wego per month and believes to increase the volumes of scooter in India. The company has launched the new TVS Wego scooter along with TVS Jive (Auto-clutch motorcycle).
The new TVS Wego is equipped with attractive features and cutting-edge technology engine which make it valuable product of TVS Motors. It comes loaded with Air cooled, 4 stroke, single cylinder engine which produces a maddening power output of 5.88 kw (8 BHP) at 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 8 Nm at 5500 rpm from its 109.7cc engine. The new scooter is fitted with automatic transmission system and offers a mileage of around 55 km/l in city.
The most popular scooters brands of the cpmpany are TVS Scooty Teenz, Scooty Pep and Scooty Streak in the Indian auto market. The all new TVS Wego is packed with new generation features like a 12-inch alloy wheels, latest metal bodied and stylish graphic design. TVS Motors presently exports to the SAARC region and Africa, but will expand its market by the setting up assembly lines in Bangladesh and Columbia within the next two years.
