September 2025 is going to be an interesting month with many exciting two-wheeler launches lined up. We can expect 3 new performance-oriented scooters, a new e-scooter, an updated roadster, and a brand new supersport. Here’s a brief overview of upcoming two-wheeler launches in India:
TVS Ntorq 150
The TVS Ntorq 150 launch is expected on September 4, 2025, as per recent social media teasers shared by the brand.
It will be the most powerful TVS scooter once launched. We expect it to feature a heavily reworked version of the TVS Ntorq 125’s engine, and the new motor could produce something around 12-14PS and 12-14Nm. The scooter could be priced around Rs 1.3 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Suzuki e-Access
The Suzuki e-Access is the Japanese manufacturer’s first electric scooter in India, and it could be launched this month.
It features a sharp design, and looks similar to the sporty Japanese scooters of the past. Powering the e-scooter will be a 4.1kW motor that offers a claimed top speed of 71kmph. The e-scooter also gets a 3.07kWh fixed battery pack offering a claimed range of 95km on full charge. We can expect the Suzuki e-Access to be priced around Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
VLF Mobster
The VLF Mobster is a range of upcoming performance scooters from the Italian manufacturer.
It will be offered in 2 variants: a 125cc model and a 180cc model. The VLF Mobster 125 will offer 12PS and 11.7Nm, whereas the VLF Mobster 180 will offer 18PS and 15.7Nm, both motors are liquid-cooled. The scooter range is expected to be launched in India by September 25, 2025, and could be priced at Rs 1.4 lakh for the 125 and Rs 1.7 lakh for the 180 (both prices ex-showroom).
Updated Hero Mavrick 440
Hero will likely be launching the updated Hero Mavrick 440 in September 2025. This was first hinted at during an earnings call, where the brand had said that they will be launching one of the co-developed Hero-Harley bikes in the 2nd quarter of the financial year 2025-26 (July to September 2025).
We believe the bike could be the updated Hero Mavrick 440, with a TFT console and a gold-finished inverted fork. The bike could command a premium of around Rs 10,000 over the older model’s top-end variant, which was priced at Rs 2,24,500 (ex-showroom).
KTM RC 160
The KTM Duke 160 was recently launched at Rs 1,84,998 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and now the brand will likely roll out the RC 160 as well.
The KTM RC 160 will feature the same 164.2cc, liquid-cooled engine which produces 19PS at 9,500rpm and 15.5Nm at 7,500rpm. It will be the brand’s answer to the Yamaha R15. We expect the KTM RC 160 to be priced about Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,000 more than the recently-launched KTM 160 Duke.

wanted an electric alternative. had an activa generation 2 before this. rented this from a friend in another state and have been riding it ever since. And since suzuki has their own platform for e-service, i was interested to ride it and check it out overall. about alright. suspension is on the stiffer side but overall smooth! the seat comfort and height is very friendly, as compared to other scooters in the market, anyone in the 5ft in range can easily ride this without any fear. I would recommend this bike only if you ride short distances. This is the kind of EV that offers average range as compared to the bigger brands that have been around for a decent bit, not to name any names. I recently bought a TVS ntorq about 20 days ago and have ridden around 350 km. It’s very comfortable to ride and the mileage is around 30–35 km/l.
