    What's New?

    New 100V Architecture

    X47

The biggest update on the X47 Venom is its new 100 V electrical architecture similar to the upcoming Ultraviolette Shockwave, which improves thermal management and reduces performance loss after prolonged aggressive riding. This has allowed the updated X47 range to be lighter and have improved performance.

    Updated Battery Packs

    X47

With the new electrical architecture, Ultraviolette has also equipped the X47 Venom with 2 new battery pack options: a 7.5 kWh battery pack and a larger 11 kWh battery pack. T

    Battery Pack

    Range

    7.5 kWh

    227 km

    11 kWh

    343 km

The larger 11 kWh battery pack improves the claimed IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) range by 20 km over the previous 10.3 kWh battery pack.

The company has also worked on improving the cooling of the battery pack with a new axial cooling system, which enables faster cooling by up to two times compared to the older variant. The safety systems of the battery have also been updated on the new battery pack with a new Pyro fuse system, which safeguards the battery from sudden electrical surges.

One notable addition is that the X47 Venom gets an onboard charger on the Plus variants, which enables faster charging of up to 12 kW.

    More Performance

    X47

The new 100 V architecture also enables better performance, with the bike being equipped with a new 30 kW motor with 90 Nm (peak) torque, which is 3 kW more than the 27 kW  X47 Crossover.

The X47 Venom can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 2.7 seconds and 0-100 kmph in 5.9 seconds (all claimed), which is 2.3 seconds quicker to 100 kmph than the X47 Crossover. The claimed top speed has also increased to 155 kmph, compared to the earlier 145 kmph.

This added performance is also due to a substantial weight reduction of 20 kg, with the new X47 Venom weighing 180 kg (kerb) compared to the 200 kg kerb weight of the X47 Crossover.

    New Console & Updated Features

    X47

The X47 Venom gets a new 7-inch instrument console compared to the 5-inch TFT screen on the standard X47 Crossover, along with updated switchgear. It also gets cruise control along with an updated Gen-6 radar-based collision warning system, depending on the variant.

Other additional features include a reversing camera, onboard turn-by-turn navigation, and dual dashcams for added convenience.

    New Colours

    X47

The Ultraviolette X47 Venom comes in 4 colour options: Afterburner Yellow & Turbo Red, Cosmic Black and Stellar White. All the colour schemes look quite eye-catching, but our favourite of them all is Turbo Red, which also gets red-coloured rims that add a sporty touch.

    What's Unchanged?

    X47

Other than these new updates, the Ultraviolette bike remains largely unchanged. It retains its quirky, ADV-inspired design with a tall windscreen, muscular tank section, and a large single-piece seat.

Its underpinnings also remain unchanged, with an inverted fork and a monoshock. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels at both ends, with a 320 mm disc at the front with a Brembo 4-piston caliper and a 240 mm disc at the rear with a single-piston caliper.

    BikeDekho Says

    X47

With the new updates, the X47 range has become more capable and feature-rich. The 100V architecture enables faster charging times and significantly better performance, while the new battery packs provide better range. All of this makes the X47 Venom a solid package if you are looking for a premium electric bike for everyday use.

Personal review of owning x47 for 9 months
Compare the ICE bike this feel more similar feel and more over petrol issue, I had scooty it got damaged for E20 petrol so I don't want that engine issue for new bike. More over I saved 35000 in petrol for 8 months. That make feel happy, I never knew the daily commute cost charge it up and ride. So far in my journey with bike I travel almost 8000KM where dynamic are good no hardware level issue saved allmost 35k of petrol and I feel sometimes it consume more time for charging software issue are there, in this bike that issue I faced and accessories it placed in very expensive. You need for short travel and few long trip around 250km it can do it But it is hard for long ride for 350 plus in single day It charging u need boost charge it 40k, It make more expensive my conclusion you have short daily ride and company provide free charging in their showroom.

      V good bike
Premium build, starts from 2.5 to 4 lakh. Price increase with warranty and range. I chose for few reasons 1) hill control 2) regent breaking 3) aesthetics) Premium build 4) Indian start up 5) very low centre of gravity 6) sticks to road due to heavy weight and traction control. Very comfortable, bit costly but worth it, service is good. They visit home to serve by taking 10 rs per km. Low maintenance, shockers are very good, load of safety features, hill hold , very practical feature, park assist, regent breaks, traction control. Daily ride is minimum 30 km, saves petrol if you ride more, home charging facility. For touring one way 170 km is ok, to charge and return back. Very economical, though initial investment is more, but if you ride heavily you will find it cheap in long run. Warranty for recon plus ( rs 4 lakh) goes to 8 lakh km or 8 years by paying 45000 extra, Without that its 5 year or 5 lakh km.

      Best purchase of my life
Awesome power delivery and safety features. Best for city commuting and also medium offroading. Pillion riding is also good. Add on features like tpms and rear and front camera is like a good upgrade. Original variant is enough for a guy with daily ride of 70km per day average. For long touring and if having range anxiety go for recon or recon plus model. I plan my rides properly so i all end up only using at 20 percentage remaining. Best for bad roads and cities and also highways. This bike is a cross over so any rider can choose it for there benefits. It has got switchable traction control as well as abs also. Best range is achieved in the city with regeneration on at level 9.
