Ultraviolette Tesseract Launch Timeline Revealed
Yes, the EV brand is taking a bit too long to launch this e-scooter in India, but we hope its worth all the delay

Quick Highlights:
-
Ultraviolette Tesseract launch pushed to next year
-
Several changes made after customer feedback on comfort, practicality and more
-
New 100V architecture introduced to support higher performance and faster charging
When Ultraviolette first revealed the Tesseract back in March 2025, it immediately grabbed attention with its futuristic design and long list of features. However, instead of rushing the electric scooter into production, the Bengaluru-based manufacturer decided to spend more time refining it.

Interestingly, the delay isn’t because of a single reason. After unveiling this striking-looking electric scooter, Ultraviolette took it to 30 cities across the country through customer showcases. This gave potential buyers a chance to see the scooter up close, and share real-world feedback directly with the brand’s officials. According to Ultraviolette, these interactions led to several changes being made to the scooter. The brand has revised the design, worked on improving the ergonomics and increased the floorboard space to make the e-scooter much more practical for everyday use. The production-spec model will also get a larger seat, which should improve comfort for both the rider and pillion.
That said, customer feedback wasn’t the only reason behind the extended development cycle. Ultraviolette has also upgraded the Tesseract with an all-new 100V electrical architecture (while most of the e-scooters still have 50-60V), claimed to be the first of its kind on an Indian scooter. The new platform has been developed to support the scooter’s claimed 15kW power output while improving thermal efficiency and overall system performance.

This was particularly important as the Ultraviolette Tesseract uses a relatively compact 4kWh battery pack. The new architecture is expected to help the scooter sustain its performance for longer periods without significant drops in output, while also improving charging speeds and overall efficiency. Ultraviolette claims the setup can enable charging speeds that are up to twice as fast as the current industry average. Along with this, the scooter will also come with safety features like Ultraviolette’s ADAS (Advanced Driver Assisted System) technology, same as seen on the X-47 Crossover.

So while the launch delay may disappoint some buyers, it appears that Ultraviolette has used the additional time to improve both the riding experience, and the underlying technology of the Tesseract. It is now scheduled to be launched in India in January 2027. The good news for the 70,000-plus customers who pre-booked the scooter during its introductory phase is that they will receive it at the originally announced price. New customers, however, will have to pay a revised price, which Ultraviolette says will be announced closer to launch.

- Experience exotic ride, latest features & designI choose this bike for its exotic experience and latest features. The Tessaract doesn't just look futuristic, it feels like it was sketched straight out of a sci fi storyboard. Its sharp lines and layered geometry give it a sense of motion even when standing still. Unlike many scooters that lean on minimalism, this one embraces boldness, almost daring you to ride it like you are stepping into tomorrow. Ride experience was good, What sets it apart isn't just speed or range its the character of the ride. The acceleration feels less like a jolt and more like a smooth surge, almost as if the scooter anticipates your intent. The balance is intuitive, making even tight turns feel natural. Its not just transportation, its choreography between rider and machine. I would really recommend this bike, but its too late to get the product delivered. Since March 2025 its 11 months waiting period and I feel like buying another scooter from market. Where other scooters fade into the background, the Tessaract demands attention. Its not trying to be invisible its trying to be iconic. That makes it less of a tool and more of a statement. If you're someone who sees mobility as an extension of personality, this scooter feels like a wearable piece of art.Read More3 9
